Most Boring Superheroes

The Top Ten
1 Superman Superman is a comic character. And probably the first powerful superhero in the fictional world. The character was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933. It was published by DC comics. The first animated superhero movie was superman. ...read more.

How. Why. Superman is the best and most important superhero of all time. He may not be your favorite, but his importance and impact on comics is undeniable. He has intriguing powers, and one of the best personalities of ANY superhero out there. 99% of people saying superman is boring are probably just ignorant individuals who take everything they get from a movie as facts.

It might not be such a popular thing to put, but personally, I fall asleep when I see something about Superman on. All his games suck. All his movies are lame. All his television shows suck. It's the same thing every time we see him. He's either getting his tail kicked by Darkseid or getting his but handed to him by Lex Luthor. He has Strength, heat vision, flight, & strong breath. His powers make him that much more boring. No skill involved with his combat. Back to Lex Luthor though, think about this for a second. Superman, a superhuman lifeform gets dominated by a bald guy & some green rocks. Superman, you just SUCK! As CM Punk Says, "PIPEBOMB! "

I knew that this would be number one. Let me guess, you people have never read a good Superman comic before and you've only seen the movies. If you think that him being strong makes him boring then I'm sorry, but you are missing the point of the character.

People always like to call him 'overpowered' but if that was true then he's win every fight and guess what? He has lost against lots of opponents, with Doomsday being the most notable one. If you think that Superman is boring because he's strong then you are missing the point of the character. It's extremely likely that Superman will win against his opponents but will other people survive? If he's fighting someone like Brainiac and Brainiac kills an innocent person then Superman considers this a loss for him. He has failed to save that person. So he ends up defeating Brainiac and saving the day and people celebrate because he saved their lives but when he returns back home he can't stop thinking about that one person that he ...more

Yeah, he is. I started out liking him, but after I saw the 1990s cartoons, where things other than Kryptonite hurt him, I saw the comic books where he survives nuclear weapons blowing up right next to him or instant healing, it was rediculous. Even more funny is the fact that he is a father with an invincible son, so now he is even more boring as a character, because since he and his kid are invincible, well, he is unrelatable to me because if I have kids, they don't have superpowers or indestructibility. Spider-Man? That guy has to both struggle for morals, screw up sometimes, and risk his life on a regular basis.

2 Kitty Pryde Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.

Umm No. She's cool. One of the best XMEN with a neat and unique power. She needs to join The AVENGERS.

Laugh out loud Pipebomb, I think you just made this list only for your opinion

Do I really NEED to tell you why she's boring?

3 Supergirl Supergirl is the superhero name of Kara Zor-El, cousin to Superman. She was created by writer Otto Binder and designed by artist Al Plastino in 1959, and she first appeared in Action Comics, in whose first issue Superman himself was introduced. Kara Zor-El's Supergirl has been adapted into various media, including television and film, having being played by Helen Slater, Laura Vandervoort, and most recently Melissa Benoist in the Arrowverse.

She sucks by relation to Superman! They have the same enemies, same powers, & the same old plots! -PIPEBOMB-

She's not boring like Superman is. She's a lot more relatable and not bland.

She's even more boring than Superman

Genderbent Superman. But more boring, blander and more annoying!

4 Wasp The Wasp is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee, Ernie Hart and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in Tales to Astonish #44. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she is portrayed by Evangeline Lily.

How Superman is considered more boring than a girly girl who loves shopping, gets small and has rather innocuous zaps as weapons remains a mistery. She's not even smart, she got her powers from her former husband, who she left for being abusive except he wasn't because he was mind controlled but no writer seems to remember so he's always depicted as a wifebeater for whatever reason. Horribly boring bland character.
The only decent thing she did was being designed by Frank Cho in a Ultron miniseries. At least she had a sexy design there. Normally she has a lame haircut in the best case scenario.

She has the power to shrink, fly & basically shoot pixie dust at people. It always ends with her getting swatted. -PIPEBOMB-

She is an awesome pixie and perfect partner to Ant Man. Not boring at all.

5 Mr. Fantastic Mister Fantastic is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

Ooh! I have the power to touch my toes without bending over! Gimme a break. The only use he has in the world is serving as a bunji chord! -PIPEBOMB-

6 Invisible Woman Invisible Woman is a female superhero who is a part of Marvel's Fantastic Four. Her powers include invisibility, cosmic rays, invisible force field, and more.

Umm she is definitely not boring. Her powers are very useful and her character is a smart scientist and not some dumb air head.

Oooh! I've got the power to sneek up on people & kick them in the groin! The only use for her is to make herself disappear from the world so there's one less lame hero to look at! -PIPEBOMB-

She can do more than disappear, she can control force fields and much more

7 Captain America Captain Steven Grant Rogers, most known as Steve Rogers or Captain America, is a fictional superhero appearing in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was a World War II veteran and is known as the world's first superhero. The character was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and ...read more.

First movie with no other superheroes was boring. All other of his movies needed support from other superheroes

I try to enjoy Captain America, but I always die of boredom watching his movies. His character nevery seems to evolve either.

Bland character whose iconic image makes him seem more interesting than he really is.

Oh come on..this guy should be on the top of this list..I mean come on he couldn't even stop a plane without crashing it!

8 Green Hornet

Kato made the Green Hornet his b****! Kato is the one who dominated the franchise! -PIPEBOMB-

All he has is a dumb little ring, take away the ring, and what do you have?

9 Batgirl Batgirl is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, depicted as female counterparts to the superhero Batman.

This character, and super girl, lady flash, hawk girl, spider girl, iron heart and all the other women superheroes named AFTER other heroes are pointless and bland. Their existence doesn't even make sense, the writers just thought;"We need to make female superheroes...I know! lets just name women characters after existing male characters and give them the exact same powers and costume! ". Why aren't their more lit female superheroes that are made actually creatively, not just adapted like Scarlett Witch, Black Widow, WW, Black Canary, and like those?

Bat girl, and super girl, are not pointless OR bland and are a lot more interesting than their male counterparts thank you very much.

10 Wonder Woman Wonder Woman is a fictional superhero created by William Moulton Marston and Harry G. Peter, appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character is a founding member of the Justice League, a goddess, and Ambassador-at-Large of the Amazon people. In her homeland, the island nation ...read more.

She is a princess and a goddess for crying out loud she is like a female Thor. Nothing about her is boring and do not even compare her to Superman because there is no comparison there.

Certainly not 1 of my favorites! She is the same as Supergirl & Superman. Whats the difference anyway! -PIPEBOMB-

All she relies on is pure power nothing else... she's the same as Superman

Who cares!

The Contenders

Impossibly overpowered and unrealistic, with limitless money, limitless skill in martial arts, limitless skill in pretty much anything he wants to do. Also, has the personality of a complete jerk, but everyone loves him despite that.

Wait didn't every good superhero make this list? So either the creator and all the people commenting hate superheroes or they just have nothing better to do... But I do agree with most of these

To the guy who said impossiblely op, Batman is at the peak of human condition, not close to or just average, the peak. But he is still human and his past, dark nature and dective skills make him fun to read, watch and play(games)

I have nothing to say, he's just a loser super-hero wannabe that can talk to fish. Need I explain more? He can't even at least move water or something, just talking to some fish. Really? Take away water and what do you have? Some lame-o freak dressing up in some really tight pants. Batman can kick his butt in any fight.

13 Flaming Torch

Dude, stfu. The human torch isn't boring at all! He's a prankster, a jock, controls fire and causes trouble everywhere. I mean, how is that boring at all? You gotta get checked.

His powers include self-healing and super strength. He is regarded as one of the funniest characters in comics due to his tendency to break the fourth wall.

He is just never stops Talking he never shut up for 1 minute plus I like Deadpool before They made him a annoying trash talker and stupid jokes and breaking the 4 Wall all the Time 1991 Deadpool was better then the new Deadpool

Lame jokes, lame plots, lame creation story and played by a lame actor...all around boring.

He's just a boring version of DeathStroke.

How is he boring

When they sent Goku (Kakarrot) to Earth his grandfather Gohan took care of him. Later on Goku didn't realize it when he was a kid, but he killed his grandfather Gohan because it was a full moon, and Goku looked at it, so he turned into a giant ape.

Lol people are just mad that dragon ball is the most successful anime in history and rivals people like spiderman and batman in popularity

They only put him here because in Japan, he's like Superman. Except Goku is better.

Okay, now I'm not taking this list serious at all. I grew skeptical when I saw Superman at the very top of the list. Sure he's a boring superhero, but there are far worse out there. As I scrolled down my worst fears became a reality. Someone on this planet made a list of the "most boring superheroes" and put Iron Man and Batman... JNS5546 (author), what were you thinking?
