Most Hauntingly Beautiful and Sad Songs
The Contenders: Page 12
Although the song may not sound beautiful if it just had generic lyrics, the lyrics to this song pack in so much emotion. I'm unsure as to whether Kellin Quinn is singing from experience or understanding of the situation, but he's singing to his father and asking why he left and why he wasn't there. Its so emotional and some of the lyrics sound like a child asking, I.E. "why are you walking away? "
A hauntingly beautiful song about the link between love and death. Plus, I couldn't get the music video out of my head after I saw it the first time.
"Love is watching someone die...so who's gonna watch you die? " these last words of the song are so sad and powerful.
This is the most touching and sorrowful song I have ever heard. I don't know why. It's signifys new life and redemption. It shook me up so much. I felt different after listening to it and somehow like I have a purpose in life though I know not what it is. I haven't felt alive for a long, long time. I just survive. I go through the motions a mask of contentment upon my face. This haunting song shook me up more than I have ever felt before physically and emotionally. I felt alive in all life's imperfections.
Hauntingly beautiful. It captures you and pulls you in.
