Top 10 Most Iconic Video Game BossesVideogamer2000
The Top Ten
Bowser is strong but Dream Team Bowser.Jr is harder without him Mario would be a 21 year old carpenter who fights DK and Peach would not exist Bowser is the best boss ever I beat him 123 times
Bowser needs to be number one no other villain in gaming history has been more iconic everybody knows Bowser not everybody knows @$$face jr not much people know number one and number two compared to Bowser!
If you took mushroom kingdom without Bowser it just be a kingdom with a experiment gone totally wrong related to mushrooms
Bowser should be number 1. Without Bowser, Mario would just be a single 40 year old plumber.V 5 Comments
Known for the best soundtrack, the most shocking moment in Silent Hill, and a rather decent boss fight.
This guy can't even die... He just appears in your worst nightmares
I still have nightmares
Never heard of him
Really epic boss fight.
Remind me of the dueeeaugh fish from SpongeBob.
"Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha...
Don't worry, your pitiful suffering will be over soon."
He's a living fetus for crying out loud!
I know what you're thinking "How is this little scumbag iconic?!? " Well, read this sentance and think about it. Jasper Batt Jr. Is the perfect example of how hateful a character can go! He's lately on everyone's most hated characters list! Think about those sentances and you'll understand. - Videogamer2000
Ganon should be number 1, but anyway this is the boss battle (along with the end from mgs3) that I will always remember, and if you don't know the lyrics of the song, then you have no idea what an iconic boss is
It is basically an opera. Ii aamm the great mighty poo and I'm gonna throw my s*** at you. A huge supply of tosh comes drom my chocolate starfish. How about some scat you little t***. Do you really think you'll survive in here. You don't seem to know which creek you're iinn. Sweet corn is the only thing that makes it through my rear. How do you think I keep this lovely grin? Have some more caviar
I'm not a big Metal Gear fan, but this guy is pretty much an example of what I strive to create, on the occasion that I program a game using Scratch or Python. The fourth-wall breaking here is absolutely amazing.
Video? No it's HIDEO.
Such a lovable/hateable character in an amazing game, my favorite boss.
GLaDOS is pretty much my favorite out of all of these. She's always coming up with sarcastic remarks, in a tone of voice that says "oh, wow, just look how much I care." She's got an interesting design in terms of appearance, a combination of bulky and sleek forms that you really just want to draw, figure it all out. And finally, neurotoxin. Enough said.
Ganon needs to be at least in the Top 5, along with Kefka - Nintendonix
I'm going with Petey, but as a boss, Ganon might even be more iconic than Bowser
Ok you are killing me. I think Ganon should. Be at least in the top 3. He is in one of the most popular video games of all time. - Umara0068
Gannon took over hyrule several times bowser only kidnapped a princess so yeah...V 1 Comment
Nemesis is insanely difficult to kill especially you use a PS1 emulator and fight him in every when Jake the S.T.A.R.S. Officer get killed in the fight that the character you control (Don't wanna tell the spoliers especially the non-Resident Evil fans) scene and especially at Hard Mode! Very iconic, memorable and epic! Should be at Top 5! - JomartheGreat
All warefare is based on deception. All it needs to change the course of history is the will of a single man. Makarov believed that and started his reign of Terror by nuking the Middle East and and massacring civilians in a busy airport.
Fat man, has funny nickname. enough said
WHY IS HE SO LOW ON THE LIST?
THIS SHOULD BE HIGHER UP THE LIST! - CN121
Why is Mettaton higher than sans?
Iconic for being one of the hardest if not THE hardest boss in the game.
Alphys NEO is still harder and has way better music to be honest (no offense to this fight) - xandermartin98
Geeett dunked on!V 1 Comment
Mettaton is the most memorable to me. I only cried on his death. So moving... RIP MY BAE - Page_394
He is known from his legs
It’s genuinely surprising to see good old O&S this low on the list. They’re the most iconic boss of one of the most iconic games of all time. So much so they’ve got their own Wikipedia page. I guess people these days just don’t care to git good...
Ah yes, the fangirls just love him.
The face of smash bros...or should I say hands of smash bros
The final boss of the first Kirby game ever made. Of course this is the best of the iconic video game bosses.
Maybe not the most iconic boss of all time, but definitely the most well-known character of the Touhou series. She's adorable yet chaotic, with a catchy boss theme that has invaded so many fandoms on YouTube. Plus, who doesn't love a good bullet heck boss? (Except for the one playing it, I guess.) *walks off humming UN Owen was Her*
This critter's boss theme is amazing, and from what I can tell, is very easy to make a good remix of. There are so many good arrangements of the boss theme I've seen.
Haha, I just learned about System Shock a few minutes ago. Sounds to me like SHODAN and GLaDOS would be great friends. Somebody make a crossover! :P
Not as iconic as Bowser, but definitely very iconic.
I am not sure if this can be classified as a boss. Can someone check Undertale Wiki and see?
And I'm the only fanboy here doesn't recognize Dr. Albert Wesker? He's really iconic in RE4 and RE6! Dr. Wesker should be in the Top 20! - JomartheGreat
