Without Tennessee there would be no Texas because it would be apart of Mexico. We have had three presidents and we always lead in people who sign up for the military hence the reason why we are called "The Volunteer State". We also have Jack Daniel's Whiskey and we are the country music capital of the world. Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, BB King, Justin Timberlake, and Garth Brooks are all people who live in Tennessee.
We are definitely better than Maryland we have better schools and more presidents
Without Oakridge,TN we would not have been able to make the atomic bomb.
With low house prices, cheap land, and a growing economy, I think Tennessee may not be the most important state to the U.S., but historically and presently it has encouraged decisions by the government from the sidelines; it's a piece of the puzzle, but a good representation of the South. Crime rates are high in Tennessee, especially around Memphis, but so are Chicago’s, NYC’s, Los Angeles’, etc., pretty much any large city. But with the present economy, I think Tennesse is a better place to live in the South then several other states.
South Carolina should be higher than it is. We have very strategic areas such as the Charleston harbor we also export a lot of timber that is used for houses and furniture and we are rich in history and beauty.
SC has a history of being one off the richest states from exporting rice, indigo, and cotton all those years ago and I believe that the US would not be what it is today without it.
Are you kidding, just about last in everything, especially education, come on people SC should be at least 49th
Bruh,as of what I learned in history,sc had so much in the past, why isn't this 1! - Nateawesomeness

Connecticut is one of the wealthiest states. Also, it has rich history and legend. Just read the Charter Oak legend! Connecticut manufactured 4.1 percent of total U.S. military armaments produced during World War II, ranking ninth among the 48 states, with major factories including Colt for firearms, Pratt & Whitney for aircraft engines, Chance Vought for fighter planes, Hamilton Standard for propellers, and Electric Boat for submarines and PT boats. In Bridgeport, General Electric would produce a significant new weapon to counter opposing tanks: the bazooka. THEY CREATED THE BAZOOKA!

The Scoville Memorial Library is the United States oldest public library. Connecticut is home to the oldest U.S. newspaper still being published: The Hartford Courant, established in 1764. Connecticut is home to the first hamburger (1895), Polaroid camera (1934), helicopter (1939), and color television (1948). The World Wrestling Federation or the WWF is headquartered in Stamford. PEZ® Candy is made in the city of Orange. Yale is the 5th best College (Ranked by Forbes). It also has produced the second most presidents. IT IS AWESOME!
In our state Wisconsin we could stop growing corn and producing cheese and milk. Keep up with that. Thousands of acres of corn that we really don't need to share

Oklahoma is pretty much just an underrated twin of Texas with more culture and resistance towards the United States. So yes Texas is important, as well as California, and Nevada, and Washington. But Oklahoma is well up there and okc is a very important city of trade in the west. On top of that we are surrounded by Kansas peoples, druggies, and rednecks. So for our placement in the us and multiple industries, we are quite important, but not the most

We’re a smart bunch here in the Land of Enchantment. The state is home to more PhD holders per capita than any other state in the country. Why? The government. Albuquerque hosts Sandia National Laboratories and a number of other research facilities. Then there’s Los Alamos National Laboratory, Intel, and several land management agencies including the Forest Service and National Park Service. And don’t forget that Microsoft was famously established in an Albuquerque garage.V 1 Comment
