Tony Lommi is #1 and he should be #1, the first Metal guitarist of history, of course he influenced every one in this list specially Doom Metal bands, and whoever put Kirk Hammett
#2, he doesn't know that being a good guitarist doesn't make him influential.

Along with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath pretty much pioneered the beauty that know as "heavy metal".
