These artists are terrible. Seriously, Beyonce does not deserve a number 1 spot on this list and what.. You have Usher and Chris Brown in the top 5. What a disgraceful list. Usher and Chris Brown would be nothing without the influence of one of the greatest entertainers of all time MJ. He is unrivaled today as not only one of the best dancers that ever lived, but also was a great songwriter and influenced people to the far corners of the earth with his artistic and musical genius. Anything less than number one is a disgrace to truth. Also someone better add the other Motown artist that invented the means to modern music! - SoulofTheLegends

I'm speechless. Get this boy higher. And Whitney in the 20s, seriously? Come on now! - anewman

Amazing voice, amazing charisma, amazing dancing. It just doesn't get better than the one and only Michael Jackson!

3 R.Kelly

Well there is so much to say about Kelly. He has been around for so long with hits on each of his major albums. The main thing here is his voice and his mind. No one compares to when it comes to his beautiful voice and his intelligence as a song writer and artist. The best vocalist ever right here!

R kelly is in a league of his own. Timeless... Classic hits. Genius song writing and vocal skills that punish all other voices. Everything he touches is phenomenal. Bow down to the king!

The rest of these names shouldn't even be on the list.

Best voice, best composition, best lyrics, best melody

I mean come on. They said R&B! Anita Baker and Luther at 24 & 25, I mean Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Beyonce are good, but their voices are predictable and they don't have staying power. Luther and Anita music was out in the 80's yet you ALWAYS hear their music playing on the radio DAILY. That won't be the case 30 years from now with Rihanna. None of her songs are oldies but goodies worthy.

Mariah carey should be the best female singer. She got the power to be "the voice". 5 octave range and her powerful voice makes the crowd feel the emotions and the meaning of the song. Most of the song she sing was written by her.

Greatest singer of all time, just ask one of her 18 #1 hits

I love the songbird tittle of her she really deserve it

I think mary j blige should be number 1 because she has the grearest voice I have ever heard she can never be duplicated and I love her songs no one can make a song come alive like mary j can she is my idol.

Mary is the R&B Queen. She was the one who redefined R&B, bridging the gap between Hip Hop and Soul with a new swing of what we call contemporary R&B today.
