Very well trained, the ranger Corp are one of the most deadly special forces in the world

Wow I think maybe we should be liwer on this list

Even though Ireland had a huge financial crisis which lead to a bailout of €65.5 billion from the European Union. Ireland has payed back it's debt fully and is now looked as the “poster boy of Europe", a nation that other European countries can look up to. It is also increasing it's defense budget each year.

Ireland is officially a Neutral nation, but before their independence they beat the British Empire! Even though Ireland is a small country it is a modern western nation, with one of the best trained armies, navy and airforce in Europe. As a peaceful country, which means it is very safe, 416 troops are currently deployed around the world on behalf of the United Nations, with 210 and 116 Irish soldiers on the front line of peace keeping in Lebanon and Syria.

Ireland is the most friendliest country in the world with great relations with all world powers especially USA & UK! A very important player in the European Union, United Nations, European Organisation of ...more

Although they don't have a large military, they need not worry.
Any direct threat to Ireland would be intolerable to their neighbours.
The French and British military would be there very quickly, and the Americans a bit latter.
That is a formidable defense capability - at a very low cost to Ireland.

Altough they do no have the most modern equipment, they are one of the best trained.

The Portuguese always faced armies much bigger, but almost always got around the numbers and won. With a little help of the british sometimes...

Portugal would easily take over Spain in 9 months

26 Bulgaria

Yea I think Bulgaria should be in it

Are you kidding me bulgaria 28th Bulgaria is much more stronger than all other countries exampel albania denmark Moldova ireland Croatia

Strong army once during the comunist regimen, the strongest on the Balkans at that time, an army that half of Europe couldn't have afforded to engage in a war with, but having most of it's millitary equipment scrapped and men force reduced gradually as a condition for NATO membership, because of the economical crisis that appeared after the dissolution of the Soviet Union as the economy of the country no longer was able to provision the army.

Bulgaria has maybe the strongest air force it consists of 3 Mig-29 and some old trash! It also has 30 000 man power armed with AK - 74 and AK - 47! Half of those 30 000 men are drinkers and drug addicts!
Bulgaria sold her tanks to Macedonia in 1993, and Macedonia eventually scrapped them for money!
Half of those 30 000 men are drinkers and drug addicts!
Ohh and don't forget that we have 6 warships - 3 frigates, 2 rusty 60 years old submarines and a minesweeper!

Although it is an extremely small country located in the Middle East, it has a great monarchy system and an incredibly strong invincible military (compared to Arab countries of course). The 6 million population of Jordan remain until now the best and most persistent when it comes to protecting one's country. To add to that and wrap it up, it's trade isn't bad at all, in Irbid, many clothes are made/sewed (handmade) and sent to the US and different parts of the world.
