Top 10 Most Overrated Cities

The Top Ten

1 New York

Movies are boring now because its plot is always in New York city

Yayy! When I voted for it it changed from #3 to #2. It deserves this high ranking. What's in this city anyways? Crowds, crowds and crowds. Oh, and homeless people.

You are just picking popular cities! Do you actually know the definition of "overrated" - Mono

The reason it isn't #1 is because I live there and I like it - LS

2 London London is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames in the south eastern part of the island of Great Britain, London has been a major settlement for two millennia.

PUH - LEEZ! You would think it was heaven - LS

3 Los Angeles

Why isn't LA number 1? It's very economically unequal, it's full of narcissistic freaks who care only about themselves, traffic is deplorable, cost of living is outrageous, and finding parking is more valuable than gold. While Los Angeles may be full of culture and has a very comfortable climate, the cons outweigh the pros, and unless you have a ton of money, you'd hate it here.

Uggly, racist and hostile city, take it Hollywood away and it's like Salt Lake city.

Getting tired of this fame garbage and the same ol Kardashian bogus.

4 Paris Paris is the capital and most populous city of France, with an area of 105 square kilometres and an official estimated population of 2,140,526 residents as of 1 January 2019. Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of Europe's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, science, and the more.

It's a beautiful place and has a lot of cultural things to see, but once that's been hit there isn't too much to do. It doesn't quite live up to it's romanticized expectations.

The city of love? Yeah, sure. There are also pickpockets here.

Food is too expensive and not even that much different from what I've had in Arizona. It's like, $14 USD for a plain crepe with 1 topping. While the attractions are nice too, its like $60 a pop...

5 San Francisco San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is a city in, and the cultural, commercial, and financial center of, Northern California.

A city is its people. Too many people in this city are out of touch with a reality other than their own. You get the sinking feeling that most people are miserable behind the facade. They are always trying to convince you they care about everything... but you can't help but notice they are just self absorbed. Too humid.

Cramped, Sideways, Expensive, Dreary, Politically Extreme

Smells like urine everywhere... enough said.

The diversity is overrated. There’s not many Italians, Greek, etc. like in many other American cities. Not many Cubans or Puerto Rican’s either

Houstonians keep harping about how diverse and accepting Houston is. Even though Houston is one of the few cities, if not the only one, to literally vote down a nondiscrimination (sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity) ordinance by a landslide in 2015, all because they believe that the ordinance would let men go into women's bathrooms. Not to mention that popular radio and T.V. stations aired that BS ad! Stupid transphobic people! 😡

Most overrated city ever, according to many, its "beautiful" in reality, it's a hellhole of ugly buildings, a Montreal ripoff, wanna go to a REAL lively beautiful city? Choose Montreal or Toronto, because this is simply hideous

Overpriced with an out of control homeless, drug addict problem. Try walking a block without stepping over a needle or human feces.

After having visited it multiple times, its not nearly as good as they say, I'm a Montrealer, and its just expensive ugly and boring in Vancouver

While Canada is underrated, Vancouver is the most overrated city in Canada lol.
It is really beautiful though
