They say that Exodus should be part of the big 4 of thrash instead of anthrax, but even though they've been there since the beginning along with Metallica and slayer, they're nothing special. Bonded by blood is an average album. If there were to be a big 5 of thrash it'll be between Overkill or Testament.

Nothing special? Listen to their masterpieces out of "Bonded by Blood",like "The Toxic Waltz" and "Blacklist" then think about what you said - DejanKalinic

Suicide Silence? A metal band? Funny. They suck so bad their vocalist crashed his bike so he wouldn't have to do any more crappy music.

They give deathcore a bad name.

72 Poison Poison Poison is an American hair/glam metal band that achieved great commercial success in the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s.

Poison is crap that was shoved down the mainstream audience's throats. Yep... they're bad. - ThatoneMetalhead

They overrated? Are ya kidding me? Oh, and they aren't really a metal band. Shouldn't be on this list for many reasons. - Metal_Treasure

How many people know whitesnake? I think someone mistaken the list with underrated. - zxm

Judas Priest should not be on this list. Its one of the most influencal metal band that ever existed.

Why the hell is Judas Priest on this list?

What? If anything, Priest is underrated!

Number 78 on such list, means they are not overrated. If you ask me, they are underrated! - ShahryRKnoT

Blind Guardian is FAR AWAY from overrated - DejanKalinic

Nope. Try UNDERrated - fits the reality much better. - Metal_Treasure

Blind Guardian albums after A Night At The Opera are overrated but before that they were great. - Rambles

80 Deep Purple Deep Purple Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford in 1968. They are considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although their musical approach changed over the years. Originally formed as a progressive rock band, the band shifted to a heavier sound in 1970. Deep Purple, more.

One of the bests bands ever, in all of it's ages. Smoke On The Water is just a song. You should listen Knocking at Your Back Door, Perfect Strangers, etc. Really UNDERRATED

Tough one. Deep Purple released really REALLY good albums like In Rock, Machine Head, Burn and Perfect Strangers. Their downfall is their lack of consistency. Lets be honest: quite a few of their albums are pretty much disposable.

Some of their songs are overrated. But some of their songs are also very underrated. I like their underrated songs more than overrated songs. - zxm

Who put Deep Purple on this list? They are the most UNDERrated band (maybe only Rainbow are more UNDERrated).

The riff of Smoke On The Water is easy but sounds amazing - same for the most popular riffs by AC/DC, Black Sabbath, etc.

However, people who have heard only of Smoke On The Water are not competent to comment on Deep Purple! In fact, circa 1970, Deep Purple played the most technically demanding stuff - the solo on Highway Star, drums on Fireball, Burn, and so on. And they nailed it live, too! - Metal_Treasure
