61 The Gazette The Gazette The Gazette, originally known as Gazette, is a Japanese visual kei rock band from Kanagawa formed in early 2002. The band is currently signed to Sony Music Records.

I can't believe they achieved mainstream success with such plain vocals. The bass alone cannot create the band

62 Pink Floyd Pink Floyd Pink Floyd were an English progressive rock band formed in London . They achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music. How is this even on this list AND no. 50?

63 ABBA ABBA ABBA were a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

Despite fantastic tracks such as Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You, The Winner Takes it All and much more, I don't think the famous four of Sweden should be able to say that they've sold over 300 million copies of material. And I don't think that they're a bad group by any stretch of the imagination, it's just they're a group who shouldn't be on a list of best-selling music acts in history (alongside The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Queen, Madonna). And once again, it's not because they're music is bad, the word "overrated" just implies something is more noteworthy then it probably should be, and ABBA are no exception. But! ABBA are one of the best acts ever in music, and will probably survive for generations and generations to come. So ABBA, although you may not have deserved all of the success of your received, Thank you for the Music!

67 The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground was an American rock band, active between 1964 and 1973, formed in New York City.

I can't stand their music. I understand they sang about heroin and influenced a bunch of punk bands, but their music I find extremely grating and lou reed can't sing his way out of a douchebag.

How to become a rock legend: Write 45-second songs and repeat them for three to seventeen minutes while Lou Reed speaks the lyrics out of key.

68 Carly Rae Jepsen Carly Rae Jepsen Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Mission, British Columbia, and later based in Vancouver.

She's way too overrated. She is one of the richest and most famous young singers and they only thing she has done in her career was just a catchy song ("Call Me Maybe") and then a bunch of pop garbage songs that also sound the same.
I'm just so surprised to see people like The Beatles, Elvis, Carrie Underwood, Britney and Madonna in this list and nobody admits that those are true artists making true music and they have so many great songs when that freak Carly Rae Jepsen had only one "cute" song.

She is just a feminine version of Justin Burberry with a little less of innovation.

75 Dir en Grey Dir en Grey DIR EN GREY is a Japanese metal band formed in 1997 and currently signed to Firewall Div., a sub-division of Free-Will.

The fact that it is the most known Japanese band in America doesn't mean they're the best.

Sounding and screaming like an animal does not make you popular or talented dude. The vocals are okay but the screams are horrible. Here's Dir en grey in a nutshell...
So kut so hi kut... Something in Japanese HUWE! I change the song when it comes to this part. The lead singer looks like about 55 even when he is 37 and sure is an ugly dude. Japan has better bands such as The Gazette, X Japan and Coldrain (Rather emo).

76 Blink 182 Blink 182 Blink-182 are a Pop Punk band formed in 1992. Original lineup were Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitar, Vocals) ...read more.

Disturbed needs to be in the top 10 of this list.
They're the definition of overrated.
They're sellouts, not that they were ever good.
Everyone thinks they're good when they're actually crap.
The vocalist has no range, and the musicians (especially the guitarist, and drummer) have no creativity and those are the reasons why a lot of their songs sound a like.
Little 10 - 13 year old kids think they're "heavy", no they're not. They're not even metal, nu-metal is not metal.
Disturbed just sucks, and they need to go away! - Chris113
