Autistic Game Critic Episode #15 - Dishonored

bobbythebrony So what can I say about Dishonored? It's a great game that was released in 2012. It has it's ups and downs but we'll get to it as we go so let's begin.

Dishonored is about a man named Corvo who was a bodyguard for the royal family during the Black Plague. The queen is killed and her daughter is kidnapped. Corvo is framed and must go on a quest, as an assassin, to clear his name, rescue the queen's daughter Emily and make sure she takes the throne so the antagonists can't.

As soon as you play the game, you may notice that it is similar to Assassin's Creed. You use a sword to assassinate armed guards and can dispose of the bodies. There is also a mysterious ghostly entity that helps you through the game. There are some differences though. You wear a mask instead of an outfit. You also use your sword for both combat and assassination. You can also kill civilians, which I love and enjoy.

Let's talk about Corvo. He's a badass who is fully competent in combat and stealth. Despite this, he doesn't talk and doesn't seem to have a personality. He's still a great protagonist though.

Well that's about it. It's a great game with many positives and a few flaws. I'd recommend it for hardcore gamers who want a challenge. If you find it, I'd give it a go. This is bobbythebrony saying: Til I see you again, watch your step.
