Most Overrated X-Men Characters

The Top Ten
1 Wolverine Wolverine is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly associated with the X-Men. His powers and abilities include a healing factor and his signature adamantium claws and adamantium skeleton.

Never got the hype around him, let alone for there to be three movies dedicated to him only. I think the first X-Men movie did a genius thing with making Rogue the one that they actually wanted because everyone was really starting to believe his own hype. Sure he great in a fight, but WHAT ELSE? WHAT MAKES HIM SO IMPORTANT?

He is boring to watch these days. Over hyped, over rated, I wouldn't say over powered to be fair he's not even remotely powerful (except his healing factor) otherwise as himself he gets busted up a lot. It's only because he has a healing factor he's still breathing even then killing hims really not that hard (even a human could drown him to death).

Yes, he is extremely hard to kill, we know. You don't have to make Such a big deal over some guy with an indestructable atimantium spine.

2 Magneto Magneto is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.

Your right! Magneto isn't the only X-men villain!
There's Sentinel as well!
But Magneto and Sentinal are the only X-men villains I know

3 Professor X
4 Beast Beast is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men.

I clicked on this option even faster than Beast either ran away from responsibility or accountability for his actions, and faster again than he betrayed his team, family and species in the face of extinction.

5 Jubilee Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

All she does is shoot fireworks from her hands! How can you defeat tough enemies with that?

She isn't as cool as she's made out to be. She's good, but not the greatest ever or anything.

6 Emma Frost Emma Grace Frost is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with the X-Men . The character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #129 (January 1980), and was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer John Byrne . Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen, has evolved from a supervillain and foe of the X-Men, to becoming a superhero and one of the X-Men's most central members and leaders .

Frost belongs to a subspecies of humanity called mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities . She is an urbane telepath with a well-noted, dry wit .

It was Wolvie or Frostie. Sorry Frostie. But I liked her as the headmistress in Gex X. Maybe I should have picked Wolvie. Anyway, she's not the kind of telepath I'd really want to be on the same team as. The white lingerie outfits are silly, and she's mean and cold half the time. I think she kinda pinched Psylocke's role as a slightly refined / aloof / glamourous / sensual telepathic lady, but Psylocke does it better. And Jean Grey was always a little boring to be, but Jean's a lot nicer. Emma Frost was never a super-popular character until the 2000s, and I never really got it.

I don't understand how could cyclops have fallen in love with such a bitch. This "woman" has changed of side a lot of times, being a villain or a heroine, when the situation requires it.

7 Marvel Girl

I'm not talking about Jean Grey as Marvel Girl, I talking about Rachel Summer because she's seems boring and overrated. Jean Grey is better than her and she can kick ass. Plus, Jean's still hot!

8 Deadpool Deadpool is a fictional antihero created by Marvel who appears in their comics. Deadpool's first appearance was in New Mutants #98 by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza in February of 1991. His powers include self-healing and super strength. He is regarded as one of the funniest characters in comics due ...read more.
9 Mystique Mystique is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.
10 Dark Phoenix Jean Grey-Summers is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

DP, take several seats. So over this damned Phoenix creamed corn. Girl, bye.

The Contenders

16 Angel
17 Juggernaut

No juggernaut is the best

18 Priest
19 Cannonball (Sam Guthrie)

I've never understood what people see in him. Although he's been every now and then in the main X-Teams, ultimately he always goes back to comic book limbo. He has never achieved an A-list status. From all the New Mutants he's the most boring one and his power is the goofiest-looking of all the X-Men. I mean, a human rocket? Or a fart-propelled dude?

20 Kitty Pryde Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men.
21 Blob
22 Toad
