101 Daydream Believer - The Monkees V 1 Comment
102 A Saucerful of Secrets - Pink Floyd

With Careful with that axe and Echoes, perhaps Set the controls of the heart of the sun and other Live at Pompeii pieces...after a total crazy part comes unbelievably beautiful part - Celestial voices, which I take as a small trip to heaven after all that drumming...

One of the craziest psychedelic instrumentals especially the drum solo part. Still a good song though if you're on drugs.

The true prophesy of the Universe. Fear he who finds the way!

103 Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In a Cave and Grooving With a Pict - Pink Floyd

This song is SUPER trippy. Lots of creepy animal sounds and an insanely long song title.

Not the best, but definitely one of the most psychedelic tracks ever made

104 Red House - Jimi Hendrix
105 Through With You - The Lemon Pipers

Maybe a bubblegum group on the outside but this is whats inside the wrapper

Little known psychedelic tour de force. Shows what they could do when they cut loose from the constraints of commerciality.

106 Castles Made of Sand - Jimi Hendrix
107 Cirrus Minor - Pink Floyd
108 Evil Bee - Menomena

Dreamy, catchy and freaky. Nice Mixture.

109 Fire - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown

Why isn't this on the top ten? This song, artist, and instruments, are much more psychedelic than the overrated Beatles.

110 Defecting Grey - The Pretty Things

You could say the Beatles and the Floyd started it up but the Pretties took it one step further.Listen to classic albums SF sorrow and Parachute and you'll agree.

111 Porpoise Song - The Monkees

From the Monkees 1969 movie "Head", a 1969 movie breaking up their bubblegum-pop image.

How can you forget this?

Truly a psychedelic masterpiece
Should at least be top 10!

112 Cymbaline - Pink Floyd

A great mixture of pure psychedelic rock, and classical inspired deep progressive rock.

114 I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night) - The Electric Prunes

This garage rock band first grouped up with later modifications and changed band members around 1964. And this song, the album that this song is on, and this western band, is considered to be early psychedelia for the mainstream musical world. This song is great! It is a mixture of Californian garage rock, and pure early psychedelic rock.

Definitely a Top 10 psychedelic rock song. The music, the lyrics all scream psychedelia.

My #2 greatest psychedelic song of all time. Awesome song. Never get tired of listening to it nearly 50 years later.

115 Climbing the Walls - Radiohead
116 A Question of Temperature - The Ballon Farm V 1 Comment
117 Halo - Cage the Elephant
118 No Quarter - Led Zeppelin
119 Apocalypse Dreams - Tame Impala

Everything Tame Impala creates is marvelously crafted and Rembrandt perfected and this six-minute early "Utopia"-like odyssey, partnered up with it's preceding track Endors Toi, is no exception. Highly recommended listening as it will give you chills listening to it.

Heart almost literally stops at 3 minutes every single time
