This band could be on the list just because of their singer, Steve Perry. However, they also have their incredibly talented guitar player, Neal Schon, their pianists Greg Rolie and Jonathan Cain, their bassist Ross Valory and drummer Steve Smith. Their current drummer, Deen Castronovo, is also an excellent singer, and can sing almost as high as Perry.

52 Mr. Big

If the question is "which band has the most virtuoso talent? " Mr. Big is in the top 5. I am not always a fan of their writing style, but when it comes to playing and vocal quality plus range. Come on! If you play an instrument, (which should be a required skill to make a list like this) you know Mr. Big is stretching the limits. Anyone who thinks Guns N' Roses is in the same category musically as Mr. Big is simply not a musician. I would also add Rush, the Eagles, Queen, the Police and Weather Report to this list. Each band is loaded with true masters of their instruments.

Come on dude, with paul gilbert and billy sheehan and high pitch voice eric martin, what more do you want
