Wait a minute... The FOO FIGHTERS aren't on this list? That's terrible. They're definitely one of the only pure rock and roll bands still producing music today. This band was started by David Grohl, the drummer from Nirvana. He recorded the whole debut album (that means all the vocals, guitar, bass lines, and drumming) by himself and only put together the rest of the band to go on concerts. That's pure talent, I mean, just listen to the first album. It has an amazing sound and feel to it. Dave Grohl and the rest of the band has pure talent. Listen to their LP Wasting Light and hear how clear and well put together it is. That album was recorded in an average garage to keep the Foo's real sound, and it still sounds perfect. I still can't believe they were not added to the list earlier.

65 The Yardbirds The Yardbirds The Yardbirds are an English rock band formed in London in 1963 that had a string of hits during the mid-1960s, including "For Your Love", "Heart Full of Soul" and "Over Under Sideways Down".

Nobody, repeat, nobody ever had the guitar lineup of this band.
First was Eric Clapton, who left after a couple of albums, to be replaced by Jeff Beck, who was then joined by Jimmy Page.
Both Page and Beck co-existed for awhile, but eventually Beck left too.
Page went along for awhile, tinkering with the personnel, then changed the band's name to... Led Zeppelin.
