141 Falconer
142 Love & Death

In my opinion, the best band on this list.

143 40 Below Summer

So underrated, max has a unique voice and und their songs are made with passion.

144 Burzum Burzum Burzum is an influential black metal solo project of Norwegian musician and writer Varg Vikernes. Burzum came to prominence at the beginning of the Norwegian Black Metal scene in the early 1990s. Vikernes was imprisoned for 21 years for the murder of Mayhem guitarist Euronymous, and charges of church more.

Absolute musical genius

145 Evile Evile Evile are an English thrash metal band from Huddersfield, formed in 2004. The band's debut album, Enter the Grave, was produced by Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark and was released worldwide in 2007 by Earache Records to critical acclaim by fans and critics alike.

A lot of people compare their soumd and musical ability to that of Metallica mainly because of the lead vocalists voice. However, they have recently proven themselves to be completely their own, as if saying "hey, THIS is us and what we want to be, and this is OUR music"

146 Toxic Holocaust Toxic Holocaust Toxic Holocaust is an American black/thrash metal band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 1999. The band has gained notoriety among the thrash metal community, and is arguably one of the most popular modern thrash metal bands. Toxic Holocaust also gained attention when their song "Bitch" was featured more.
147 Cryptic Slaughter

Helped to define the crossover/speedcore scene in the mid '80s. Many credit them with inventing the blast beat.

148 Judas Priest Judas Priest Judas Priest are a British heavy metal band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1969. The band has sold over 45 million albums to date. They received a lot of popularity due to their big hits Breaking The Law, You've Got Another Thing Comin', and Living after Midnight which were played on the radio a more.

149 Post Mortem
150 Drowning Pool Drowning Pool Drowning Pool is an American Alternative Metal band formed in Dallas, Texas in 1996. The band was named after the film The Drowning Pool.

Drowning Pool cannot receive enough hate. They are awful. - ThatoneMetalhead

151 L.A.P.D.
152 Sonata Artica
153 Galneryus
154 Jane's Addiction Jane's Addiction Jane's Addiction is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985. The band consists of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney.

Fun, surfer, artsy Party Rock. Dave Navarros solos are crazy and Three days is a masterpiece.

155 Melvins Melvins The Melvins are an American band that formed in 1983. They usually perform as a trio, but in recent years have performed as a four piece with two drummers.
156 Whispered Whispered

A more or less young band, with a very unique style, something that's rather hard to find these days in metal. They once again prove, that metal is one of the best, if not THE best, music genre to mix and match with all sorts of unusual influences. They combine Melodic Death Metal with Japanese instruments, melodies and texts about glory wars and fearless samurai. Their debut album "Thousand Swords" already was really good, but with the second and latest album "Shogunate Macabre" they really took the cake. The vocals are better, the sound is more refined and the writing is better. It also feels a lot more serious, something that "Thousand Swords" had a serious lack of. If you're looking for a very unique metal band, or just want to hear a completely new style of melodic death metal, look no further than Whispered. My favorite Songs are: Lady Of The Wind, Hold The Sword, Kappa and Blindfold

Whispered is a band that needs to get a lot more attention. They combine Melodeath Metal with Japanese folk influences, proving once again that you can mix metal with nearly everything. And it just works incredibely well. Their debut album "Thousand Swords" is a really good album but "Shogunate Macabre" is the real deal. The vocals are improved, the sound is refined and the whole album feels generally more serious, something that the first album lacked. My favorite songs have to be Hold The Sword and Lady Of The Wind. Blindfold also shouldn't be overlooked.

If you're looking for a rather young band with a unique style, look no further than Whispered.

Its debut album, Scream Bloody Gore, has been widely regarded as the first death metal record, while the band's more.

Sure, they are popular amongst metalheads, but most normal people have never heard of them.

159 The Dillinger Escape Plan The Dillinger Escape Plan The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American mathcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey. 160 Northlane

Some of the band that they've chose on here is stupid. How is AC/DC underrated? Avenged Sevenfold? That's underrated?
This is underrated.
Northlane is a metalcore band, and an amazing, original one at that. It's not your typical, generic metalcore. Listen to their songs Quantum Flux and Rot, and you will know what I mean.
