Decent but can't be compared to the fantastic Original. Alec Baldwin replacing Steve McQueen? Kim Basinger ( altough a wonderful actress ) can't compete with the outstanding performance of Ali McGraw in this movie. But, yes, a decent remake after all but it can be also that the script and story of this movie is fantastic to begin with. Maybe with less talented actors than A. Baldwin and K. Basinger it would still be a good remake. Who knows?

Original because movie is one of the best horror films of the 70's. This one was weaker but still good
