202 Paw
203 Starset

This is the best band ever and their music is so underrated

Not in mainstream, pure dynamics with amazing tune and every song has such deep meaning. Love it!

204 Yes Yes Yes are an English rock band formed in 1968 by bassist Chris Squire and singer Jon Anderson. They first achieved success in the 1970s with a progressive, art and symphonic style of rock music.

Pioneering Progressive Rock Band, very musical. They deserve better, no doubt. Check out "Yours is No Disgrace"

205 The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground was an American rock band, active between 1964 and 1973, formed in New York City.

Best band ever in my eyes. Not only did they sell like garbage within their own time, but they later would be recognized for being so influential. It simply took 30 years for the rest of the world to catch up to what they were doing. Overall great band and everyone should give them a listen. I'm listening to them while I write this. Overall better then these other bands, really. Highly experimental, intelligent, meaningful music here. Listen to their 1967 album, The Velvet Underground and Nico, to start things off then pick up the other ones too. Great great stuff. I'm 17 years old, and I know this stuff is top shelf.

Muse and other overrated crappy "rock" bands over Velvet Underground? What kind of reality this is? Those kids obviously don't even know what underrated means!

Agreed, very underrated. Solid rock. Lou Reed was a pioneer. Still it's hard to listen to him extol the virtues of drug abuse.

One of the most important band ever. Without them no punk - ChatonNoir

206 The Verve The Verve The Verve were an English rock band formed in Wigan in 1990 by lead vocalist Richard Ashcroft, guitarist Nick McCabe, bass guitarist Simon Jones and drummer Peter Salisbury. Guitarist and keyboard player Simon Tong became a member at a later date.

They are awesome.. Ashcroft is one of best singers in today's music industry with unbelievable voice. And Mcabbee is just guitar genius. Songs like Weeping Willow, Velvet Morning, On Your Own, Drugs Don't Work, Love Is Noise and many many others are legendary and very very underrated. And all rights for only one song that became popularity which belongs to them - Bittersweet Symphony was wrongfully withdrawn from owners.

207 Status Quo Status Quo Status Quo are an English rock band who play a brand of boogie rock. The group originated in The Spectres, founded by schoolboys Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster in 1962. After a number of lineup changes, which included the introduction of Rick Parfitt in 1967, the band became The Status Quo in 1967 ...read more.

Oh my god. If you see how much their records are worth the you'll see. You look at Pink Floyd and they sold MILLIONS of albums yet they are worth $50-$100. Status quo? $1 dollar bin. So underrated it's not even funny. Better than acdc. Listen to roll over lay down. A fantastic band that has been lost in time. Please listen to this band.

I remember this band have, nt heaed them inyears

208 Killing Joke Killing Joke Killing Joke are an English rock band formed in October 1978 in Notting Hill, London, England. The original line-up included Jaz Coleman, Paul Ferguson, Geordie Walker and Youth.

The people who vote on these lists are complete jokers! THIS is a band that should be in The Top 10 rather than popular bands that SOMEHOW got enough idiots to vote for them.

The best band ever still making great albums pylon is amazing

They influenced anyone who is anything who cares if they never made it big killing joke fans know the script this band are the dogs danglies

209 XTC

An incredibly, criminally underrated band. Huge catalog of complex, imaginative music rivaling the Beatles. To make a "Best of" compilation you could easily fill 4 cds with no bad songs in the bunch.

210 Senses Fail

They have a lot of good songs, although most of them revolve around similar topics, mostly alchoholism, betrayal, and unrequited love. However, that being said, they have one quality that makes me love them: The endings to their songs are generally the best part. How annoying is it when a song is good the whole way through and has a really crappy ending? Not with this band.

They have so many good songs and are not as famous as they should be.

211 Pearl Jam Pearl Jam Pearl Jam is a Grunge Rock Band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band had comprised of Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament. ...read more.

Pearl Jam are very underrated mainly because they refused to be commercial sellouts so not as many people have had a chance to listen to them. It just goes to show how much of a great band they are when Eddie has performed with the likes of Pink Floyd, The Who, The Rolling Stones, REM etc.

Not most underrated but it most be at top 10 at least. They are one of the best bands in the history. Better than nirvana alice in chains Foo Fighters. Best grunge band. - Bilgehankonya

Every day I'm reminded of how amazing Pearl Jam is when I listen to one of their songs. I even think of my 30th favorite PJ song as an incredibly awesome song. Even songs below that! This band is rated pretty high, but they still could be much higher, which is why I put Pearl Jam at number one. - Songsta41

172, well now they're at least underrated - Disturbedpotato

212 Poets of the Fall

I have yet to hear a song by them I don't like. They are the most underrated band of all time. Listen to Carnival of Rust, Given and Denied, Jealous Gods, and Illusion and Dream and you'll see what I mean.

Ye gods! POTF have an incredible range of hits and still aren't well known...

Buckcherry is very underrated. I have seen 1000's of shows and because at least 10 times (always a smokin show) Another underrated is Living Children but that was a long-long time ago and have never heard them. In more contemporary times I would say - Hurt - Smile Empty Soul - and finally coming into recognition Joe Bonamassa
