309 Stiff Little Fingers
310 Modest Mouse Modest Mouse Modest Mouse is an American rock band formed in 1992 in Issaquah, Washington, and currently based in Portland, Oregon.

Very underrated, good songs, not a lot of people knew about them until 2004 when "Float On" came out. But still aren't getting the love they deserve.

311 Egypt Central

Had to search a long time on the list to find these guys. Absolutely love their style (especially their first album) but sadly they only released two. At least we still have Devour the Day.

312 Gob
313 Traffic Traffic

Great band. Underrated songs aplenty: "No Time to Live," "Vagabond Virgin," "Shanghai Noodle Factory," all of Barleycorn, "Many a Mile to Freedom," "Hidden Treasure," "Evening Blue," "Walkin' in the Wind," and many others. Ridiculously under-appreciated--but there day will come again when fashions fade.

John Barleycorn Must die is amazing! One of my favorite bands of all time!

Traffic was similar to Genesis but Steve Winwood's vocals are great!

314 Mott the Hoople Mott the Hoople

Far and away #1 on this list - I have them as the SECOND greatest R(R Band of all time (to The Rolling Stones)!...those of and the few that know better have been getting off on this ICONICband (especially live) forever man...

315 12 Stones 12 Stones

Rock in general is usually always underrated but 12 stones is probably the most underrated band I know. How are deep purple and dream theater even on this list

Their self titled album was amazing

316 Survivor Survivor Survivor is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1978 by Jim Peterik. The band achieved its greatest success in the 1980s, garnering many charting singles, especially in the United States.

Poeple think this band is a one hit wonder with Eye of the Tiger, but its not. This band is brilliant, and so underrated.

317 Jane's Addiction Jane's Addiction Jane's Addiction is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985. The band consists of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney.

Extremely influential. lost in the shadow of same-era nirvana but had a far bigger impact on rock in general. defied category and created art. more unique than 99% of the bands on this list.

Just listen to Three Days.

318 Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield was an American-Canadian rock band, formed in Los Angeles in 1966. Their original lineup included Stephen Stills, Dewey Martin, Bruce Palmer, Richie Furay, and Neil Young.

This band had two great artists in it... Neil Young and Steven Stills. I love a lot of their songs. For What It's Worth is probably my all-time favorite song.

Grew up with their music. Very pretty songs and beautiful harmonies - ChatonNoir

Only together for about 18 months, but the members went on to greatness, including:
Stephen Stills AND Neil Young of CSNY, solo fame, etc, etc.
Richie Furay, founder of Poco.
Jim Messina of Loggins & Messina.
Buffalo Springfield is very deservedly in the RRHOF, but many people do not remember them.

319 Doves

Really guys. Most of these bands are already recognized and lauded.
