It's such a shame such an awesome band is so underrated that is isn't even on the most underrated band's list. :(

463 Twisted Sister Twisted Sister Twisted Sister is an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based in Long Island, New York.

I Like All Songs Of This Band But From 1985 It Started To Go Down.

464 Our Lady Peace
465 Eagles of Death Metal Eagles of Death Metal Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, the band also includes a wide range of other musicians that perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows.

What other band can you shake your ass to almost every song?

467 The Walkmen

What a band - how can some of these be underrated. It's a contradiction that a band can be popularly underrated. For the record Deep Purple is grossly overrated in my opinion.

468 The Outfield
469 Mike + the Mechanics

Somebody has heard of Genesis and doesn't hear the band of Mike Rutherford. They've could've been excellent in status quo as the greatest band. They had all of their popular songs like the heart-wrenching The Living Years, All I Need is a Miracle, Word of Mouth and Over My Shoulder.

470 Belly

This is an odd list, I am not sure how more then half these bands are platinum sellers and are underrated especially iron maiden who have sold over 200 million albums. As far as the song writing and overall talent, belly are the most way underrated band ever along with enuff-z-enough and vain. You have bands like poison then Green Day riding high and it's like... What

471 Toadies

Was expecting more stuff like Blue Oyster Cult, Mountain, Ram Jam, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, and these guys. Not Rush, STP,
Dire Straits, Queen, ZzTop, The Who and Deep Purple in the top 20. they're great, but they get a good amount of attention. Other groups I named are only known for a song or two, when they have an incredible and diverse catalog of music.

472 EarlyRise
473 Rooster

Young talented lads from West London. Shame they were never given a chance.

474 IQ
475 Hum

The entire album "You'd Prefer An Astronaut" is one of the best of the 90s. No one sounds quite like Hum.

476 A-ha A-ha A-ha is a Norwegian band formed in Oslo in 1982. The band was founded by Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Pål Waaktaar-Savoy.

Easily the greatest "one-hit" wonder ever, they also have some really awesome songs that aren't "Take On Me", which is probably one of the greatest songs of the decade (this coming from a guy whose favorite band is either nirvana or the offspring). Their lyrics use their loose grasp in almost a cutesie way, "the sun always shines on T.V." being one of the most prevalent examples. Also, their cover of "Cryin' in the rain" took a song I didn't by a band I didn't like and made it really good. This is the defining band of synth-pop. If you want to show anyone what synth-pop is, show them some A-ha. Also, can we talk about how awesome lead singer Morten Harket's vocals are? Very few times has a singer taken a foreign accent into his voice and made it improve the awesome sound of his voice. The most recent I can think of off the top of my head is Dan Smith of Bastille. Lastly, songs that embarrass anyone who tries to do them in karaoke are almost always awesome.

477 The Cranberries The Cranberries The Cranberries are an Irish rock band who formed in Limerick in 1989. The band consists of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler.
478 Dishwalla
479 Semisonic
480 Sloan Sloan Sloan is a Toronto-based rock/power pop quartet from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout their nearly twenty-five-year career, Sloan has released 11 LPs, two EPs, a live album, a Greatest hits album and more than thirty singles.
