Most Underrated VillainsWell there are villains who are very good, but not well known and therefor underrated. This is a list of villains who are great villains but not many people respect.
The Top Ten
He's a good villain, but I wouldn't call him 'underrated'.
YEAH OOGIE BOOGIE ROCKS!
He is considered spidermans second best villian right after the green goblin. He ran the greatest villian team the sinister six.
Snape is way too popular for this list.
This is one of the most horrible movie villains ever. He kills children, burns down churches full of inoccent people, and slaughters American prisioners and the whole time laughs at all the misery and death he causes. Why is he not appreciated by more people.
Jason Isacc war great in this role, it is a shame he is so underrated as he is, I hop he wil grow in popularity.
Dennis Hopper at is finest.
Very underrated villain from a very underrated movie. This guy is such a bastard. He drowns a old man, steals from people, rapes his son's girlfriend, and his other son and is just a horrible person
Christopher Walken plays a very creepy, evil, and unppreciated villain.
The villain of Poltergiest 2 was one of the scariest villains ever. I almost wet myself when he was walking towards the house slowly, and singing his hmyme. "God is in his holy temple" "God is in his holy temple"
In an admittedly mediocre movie that is full of goofy buddy-cop cliches, Thrax makes for a surprisingly good antagonist. This is no small part due to his sharp writing and dialogue, suave yet sadistic attitude and mannerisms, and excellent voice work. This is to say nothing of just how dark Thrax is. He's basically portrayed as a mix between a supervillain, an international terrorist, and a serial killer. Throughout the film, he is shown mercilessly slaughtering other cells and microorganisms with his fiery claw of death, his end goal being to become recognized in the medical books for killing as many victims as possible and in the shortest amount of time possible. He may easily be one of the cruelest and most sinister villains to ever appear in a film that isn't rated PG-13 or higher.
The extremely virulent antagonist of Osmosis Jones. While the movie itself was kind of "meh", one would be hard-pressed to deny that Thrax is one of the darkest and most violent villains in any animated film, especially a "family" film. Also, because he is an extremely lethal virus (hyperpyrexia), he doesn't just kill for pleasure; he wants to become famous for killing. He only exists to kill people and wants to be known as the fastest-killing illness the world has ever known. Plus, his design and animation is extremely well-handled, and Laurence Fishburne's voice acting is top-notch. It's a shame that the movie itself was rather disappointing.
Thrax Is So Tall, Dark, and Handsome!
Though he is pretty similer to Hans Gruber, Gary Oldman plays a very intimidating, and very good villain. Although people say Oldman's performence in the Professional is a underrated villain. His role in Air Force 1 is more underrated.
Herobrine is overrated. - JakePlaid
Robert D Nero was great in the remake but lets face it he was so in you face over the top. Robert Mitchum on the other hand played a just as evil but more sutble villain in the original. He was more calm and planning. Maybe the audience wanted to see a crazier villain, but Mitchum delivers it in a great and underrated performence.
This guy could pull hearts out of a person's chest. If that is not scary, then I don't know what is.
Wow was this guy scary and sadistic. How is he not popular.
The evil gang ruler of Chicago, though he doesn't appear that much, he still is a bad boy.
Blix is a fantastic character/villain, but he doesn't get much recognition. He is skilled in hunting, tracking and fighting and prides himself on being the foulest of Darkness's goblins. He can also be an abusive leader, often hitting or insulting his goblin subordinates to keep them in line. Blix is my favorite character in the whole movie. I wish we could have seen more of him. I also kinda wish he wasn't one of the bad guys. But bad or not, I love him.
I hated this character, he made me very angry. He kills three main characters (spoilers), one he kills by slowly driving a knife into his chest while laughing at the man's screams of pain.
I just watch Saving Private Ryan it was great, I really hated this character and wanted him to die.
This guy is technically not that overrated but he still has my vote.
One of the most evil old geezers in YouTube videos.
He's pretty funny. I laugh so much when he thinks "Gas Man" refers to him and says: "Gas Man. How the hell did they know that I got gas? " That's definitely one of my favorite scenes.
First off, he’s not a villain. Second...EVERYONE LOVES HIM! King Kong can kiss my ass. - asantalo
This guy is a great villain from a Disney classic yet he gets very little credit. He's rarely in videos or talked about. He's a evil, greedy and sadistic poacher who will do whatever bad thing he has to in order to get what he wants. He even has his own twisted way of singing "Home on the Range". But despite all of this, he can be funny at times. He needs more recognition. He is, without a doubt, one of my favorite Disney characters/villains.
"What she lacks in age, she makes up for in madness". She's beautiful, young, and deadly all at the same time. At the tender age of 17, she's psychotic and bloodthirsty. She's also a very skilled fighter. Such a great villain and so underrated.
He is the best villain in the game, but Metal Face is the one that gets all the love.
He is extremelly underrated
He did so much more than Bowser ever did
One of the mostr frightening things you'll ever see. The Horned King had the force to do whatever he wanted, and the power to use The Black Cualdron, resurecting the army of the dead.
The darkest disney villain, from the darkest disney film.
Phillip Seymor Hoffman was a badass in Mission Impossible 3!
She is evil, selfish and greedy. In fact, she's everything a villain should be. Still, she doesn't get as much recognition as others. She can also be funny too.
Raditz deserves more credit than he's given. He may not be the strongest character in DBZ, but he's not the weakest either. He proved this in his battle(s) with Goku & Piccolo. When he first met Piccolo he wasn't even hurt; and in his battle with Goku & Piccolo, he did maintain the upper hand for most of the fight. They just barely managed to defeat him. He's very fast, in the air and on his feet, and strong enough to lift a vehicle with a single arm and blow it to bits. And must be cruel to kidnap your own nephew and hold him for ransom. He actually does make a good villain (although he could have made a good hero as well). I LOVE him SO MUCH!
This movie has nothing to do with Bruce Lee and it could have been a little better, but it's still not that bad. I really loved Sho Kosugi as Suzuki. The fight scene between Suzuki and Wong Han is my favorite part in the whole movie. I would have loved to have seen more of him. Suzuki was pretty cool.
