He was a dynamo! So mesmerizing, so electric, just so insanely AWESOME!
Freddie is what defines unique!
FREDDIE is the GOD OF MUSIC! The best of the best, now and forever!

I love Led Zeppelin and Plant, but nobody beats Freddie. Not even Robert Plant. Nobody. Never ever.

Freddie Mercury is the most awesome and unique rock singer ever b/c he (in the words of opera diva, Montserrat Caballe) actually HAS a voice! And what a voice it is! Sublime! The voice of GOD!

Freddie Mercury is a god and nobody has a better voice than him!

2 Robert Plant Robert Anthony Plant (born 20 August 1948) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Led Zeppelin.

He was a mold breaking revolutionary rock singer that spawned thousands of inferior imitations. Exactly the same goes for that band he was in. It is slowly being forgotten (as all things are with the passage of enough time) just how pioneering and unique Plant & Zep were in late 1968. Nobody had ever seen or heard anything remotely like them.

3 James Hetfield James Alan Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963. He is an American musician, singer and songwriter known for being the co-founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for the American heavy metal band Metallica.

Hetfield's voice has evolved over the career of Metallica, drastically some may say, James Hetfield is unique, it doesn't matter if your a fan of Metallica or not, you can always recognize them because of his iconic voice, he is a legend in his own right, and knocks most vocalists out of the water with his ability to have a harsh growl or softer tone. His vocal range over the years has changed for the better (some may disagree) But neither the less, he will be remembered for generations to come.

Both James and Serj are amazing vocalists. I wish more people in the world would listen to real music rather than techno.

Oh please, James is most certainly the best, go and listen to him live then on the black album and vote

Unique angelic/demonic tone and top notch skills. Overall, one of the several vocal gods in metal. It's the most emotive and expressive voice I've ever heard. He sounds equally brilliant when sings very aggressive speed metal (almost thrash) and also metal songs with slow sections - the softest and most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Demons and Wizards - My Last Sunrise, Heaven Denies, Path of Glory, Crimson King, Love's Tragedy Asunder. [no other singers - his voice is the only one you hear, even in the background]

Blind Guardian - Majesty, The Bard's Song, Thorn, Sacred Mind, Banish From Sanctuary, Nightfall.

Being able to follow music as technically complicated as that of Periphery takes some major talent in itself, couple that with the fact he can hit some amazing notes and you've got yourself a pretty unique singer. The only comparable person would be Elliot Coleman but he's completely different to listen to.

Probably the most impressive tenor I've ever heard! Great balance of clarity and grit with one of the highest ranges and pleasant tone to listen to! He simply pushes the limit further and sets the bar really high!
