241 Johnny Rotten Johnny Rotten John Joseph Lydon, also known by his former stage name Johnny Rotten, is an English singer, songwriter, and musician.

The way that he sings in and out of tune almost seamlessly with incredible vibrato is unlike any other voice on the planet. Sex Pistols is a good display, but his work with Public Image Limited and his solo work showcase this talent much better. Songs like Disappointed, Warrior, Religion, This is not a love song, Big blue sky, and Deeper waters showcase some of the most unique and powerful vocal deliveries. And at 60 years old his voice keeps improving, and grows even better with age.

You'd be hard pressed to find a vocalist that can top God Save the Queen. WE MEAN IT MAN! - shawnwalker

246 Matt Cardle

I have been around music all my life and in my 30 plus years I have never heard a voice like Matt Cardle's. Not only is the tone of his voice very distinctive but his range is extremely wide. Then you add his vocal and breath control of each note and combine that with his self penned poignant lyrics and melodies... He is beyond compare. I don't know where he has been hiding in his early years but the world is about to discover one of it's most incredible voices ever with the musical & lyrical abilities of genius.

Matt Cardle has great range and control. He pulls you into the story as he uses his vocal talents to pull you in. It's not only his talented voice, but the way he uses emotions and highs and lows to make the story interesting. His skills, talents and his songs stay with you for long periods. He is still on his way up and will always known as one of the great storytellers, writers and singers of all time!

After seeing Matt in a large venue on his first tour and thinking his voice was amazing live, I was further blown away when seeing him earlier this year in a very small intimate venue. A group of uni students were stood behind us as he started to sing The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, I was somewhat annoyed as they began to jeer and mock. Five minutes later the whole group stood totally silent until the leader announced "F ME HE CAN SING"

If you have never listened to Matt take a listen to his first Album Letters, an awesome album with some very personal lyrics. I can honestly say I don't think you will be disappointed

He has the most amazing vocals I have ever heard and sings it with his heart and soul. He has had me in tears with the emotion he puts into everything and such a lovely genuine guy.

Leona's voice seems flawless. Such a great, even effortless tone. She's so underrated for her remarkable talent. She has a strong high head voice when others would merely use falsetto. Love her!

250 Chad Kroeger Chad Kroeger Chad Robert Kroeger is a Canadian musician and producer, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Canadian rock band, Nickelback.

Number 90! Get real - Chad needs to be WAYY higher than this. His voice is so unique you can pick it mile away. Some of these "unique" singers higher in this chart have no uniqueness whatsoever!

Who makes up this list?

this guy has the most unique and deep voice, dunno whats he doing down here... a real shame :(

Hate him... All his songs sounds the same.. But his voice is very unique and recognizable! He in my opinion should be top 15 at least

I hate you miley

Her voice is powerful and unique for such a young person. People underestimate her for starting with Disney and trying to figure out her style, but they can't say that she can't sing. She has the most powerful voice of her generation.

She's a stunning voice

254 Jonny Craig

First of all anyone can run their voice through a computer and sound good, that isn't unique its destroying music. Johnny can sing as good live as he can in the studio, how many people on this list HONESTLY sound as good live as they do in the studio? He can manipulate his voice to sing almost any note, low or high. How many people can honestly do that on this list? Also Johnny can go from singing a slow, very artistic song to barking and screaming like no other in an instant, who else on this list can do that? This list is supposed to be about uniqueness so why is someone who sings purely (aka not auto tuned, yes there is such a thing) and is so unique ranked below #10, he has true power in his voice.

Jonny deserves to be MUCH higher on this list. I see quite a bit of talent in this list but not many compete with Jonny's UNIQUE, diverse, and talented sound. The list of his vocal talents and accomplishments should reserve him a higher spot on this list. MUCH higher. Please take the time to listen to his work and you will most likely find yourself singing him his praises. -Pun intended

I agree with the last comment, , that anyone can sound good now because all the technology. He sounds amazing live, he has a very angelic voice and a very wide vocal range. I can recognize his voice in anything he's been in (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Isles and Glaciers). Beautiful and unique voice. I don't see why he's so low on the charts.

Why is he not higher? Raw emotion spews out of this man's vocal cords every time he opens his mouth to sing. I see a few good names at the top, but come on... How is Jonny not up there with the rest of them? Match him up against Freddy Mercury even and I guarantee you will find that both of them can compete on practically the same level.

256 Frank Sinatra Frank Sinatra Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra was an American singer, actor, and producer who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century.

Can some one kindly explain why Frank isn't in the top 30 at least? Or how Justin Beaver and Miley Cyrus are above him? He deserves to be in the top along with Freddie Mercury and John Lennon.

It is TRULY a crime that Frank isn't in the top 10 at least. His voice was one of the most beautiful ones to have ever graced the stage.

Frank has 0% of the votes? EVERYONE knows Frank Sinatra's voice!

Cher? Stevie Wonder? Sinatra? What on earth are these people doing in the 300s? Seriously, you think more people would recognize David Archuleta or Jackie Evancho than these Hall of Famers?
