Some people have the wrong idea that big blockbuster franchises are only about The special Effects and fights.

Here the Biggest blockbuster franchises with the most beloved characters.
The Top Ten
1 The Star Wars Franchise

It's the 70s trilogy that holds the whole thing together and has the best characters. With Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, RD-2 and Princess Leia.

And latter in the prequels came Obi one but the most adored characters on this franchise are the ones from the First trilogy.

2 The Marvel Cinematic Universe

The future of Marvel will still remain strong, even though Endgame defined a conclusion to the Avenger's franchise. There is so much diversity within the Marvel Cinematic Universe when it comes to the number of characters. Hence why I love Marvel. Fan or not, people will still watch Marvel Movies for the sake of fun and excitement. Every character has a personality

Really very few times I've seen a franchise with so many characters and all adored by the fans. We all have our personal favorites but the rich diversity in the personalities and what they can do make this franchise one of the Most successful in film history.

3 The Harry Potter Series

This franchise lasted 10 years and literally kids grew up with their characters.

The Harry Potter main characters started as kids and in the last film all became young adults. So it gives their fan base a nostalgic feeling knowing they were kids with them and latter became young adults with them too.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan but I give the credit where it's due and this a franchise with a lot of beloved characters.

4 The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
5 The James Bond Movie Series

There is no franchise longer than this one, we've been having The EON James Bond franchise since the 60s with 6 different Actors portraying bond so far.

It's a franchise which sells adventure, Luxury and great gadgets for technology lovers.

James Bond is the character every girl wants to be with and guys want to be.

There isn't really that many beloved characters in this franchise, there are some iconic villains, but this is mostly a James Bond show

6 The x Men

Okay soon they will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but for a long time they were a separate Marvel franchise and it was a very successful one with a tone beloved characters like Jean Grey, Cyclopes, Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto and Profesor X.

Not sure why Hunger Games or Twilight is above this, those franchises don't really have any iconic characters

7 The Hunger Games

This is much more targeted to young girls and it's all because of the series has a young very strong heroine which girls look up to.

It's all due to Katniss that young girls had a franchise to watch for maybe 3 years.

8 Star Trek Franchise
9 Toy Story
10 The Fast and Furious Franchise

Another big Action franchise with a lot of beloved characters.

It may be the equivalent to fast food when it comes to films but the new kids generation love this and it's characters, so I'm sure they are doing something right.

The Contenders
11 The Twilight Saga

Ok the Characters are not that great but were definitely beloved by thousands of teenagers for around 4 years. It was all about being team Jacob or team Edward but this franchise was definitely liked because of the Characters the girls loved at that time.
