Top Ten Best Movie PrequelsThese are some of the most beloved prequels ever made. Also keep in mind sense I haven't seen a bunch of prequels, I'm ranking these on how much popularity they have (for the most part).

Amazing movie - TriggerTrashKid
Am I the only one who likes this more then the original movies, including Empire Strikes Back?
Plain awesome - TriggerTrashKid
I loved but Wolverine Origins is better
Nice - TriggerTrashKid
It can’t live up to the original, but this is a smart prequel with a powerful, unconventional message.
Monster Inc is more funny but this is Iconic
A monsterously fun film
The best Disney SW movie by far
It wasn't THAT good. - TriggerTrashKid
My aunt loves this series - TriggerTrashKid
I like the Desolation of Smaug the best. The first one, nothing really happened other than Bilbo finding the ring. The last one was okay, but the second one is the best. The movies could have been a lot better, though.
This movie bored me but is not bad
Buddy, it was excellent. But Desolation of Smaug is the best in the Hobbit series. Battle of the Five Armies: an unnecessarily long disappointment. - PositronWildhawk
All three were great
Good. - TriggerTrashKid
It rises above the rest of the movie with apes in the title. Especially when the Tim Burton remake.
This ISN'T a prequel. It's a remake - robertoiglesias271
I haven't seen it yet - TriggerTrashKid
All Indiana Jones movies are great, except for the movie with Shia Labeouf
Outlaws? - TriggerTrashKid
Although the movie follows the adventures of the Man With No Name, he's not the central character of the film.
Set in New Mexico in 1862, the story follows the exploits and misadventures of a bandit named Tuco, played by Eli Wallach, trying to get revenge and money from his scam partner, the Man With No Name, whom he almost affectionately dubs "Blondie". Betrayal, slapstick, torture and violent bromance ensue as the two are forced to work together to find buried Confederate gold.
As a prequel, it's good. As a standalone film, it's a masterpiece. Dramatic, tense, powerful, emotional, beautifully crafted and side-splittingly hilarious.
It's not for everyone, but as my kind of film, it's perfect. A beautiful, rugged work of art. And Eli Wallach flawlessly burns up the screen in the role of a lifetime. This is his movie and he owns every second of his screentime. - SourNote2014
I loved it, just it's for adults. :( - TriggerTrashKid
Prequel all the way
Sorry this movie was bad but the final was quite awesome

The first 2 were meh, but are still fun. This is good and fun, and it's sequel is great too. - robertoiglesias271
I hate live action movies in animated series - TriggerTrashKid
This movie was stupid
The only live-action scooby doo movie I can watch as many times and not get bored of it.
Not watched it yet, but seems good. I see fire. - TriggerTrashKid
All Hobbit movies are good. - TriggerTrashKid
Not a prequel - kanetheundertaker25
