Movie Remakes That Are Better Than the Original

Original was great but 1978 version was better, creepier and more interesting

Superb acting from Eric Bana.

I've seen this, loved it. Tried watching the original '30s Scarface a few months back but to not much surprise, the audio quality wasn't high enough for me to bear.

Al Pacino shines as always

And this one was definitely better. Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis did a great job

This remake is pure brilliance

Peter Jackson not only adds much better special effects and more intense scenes on the island (ie pit scene), but also adds an interesting aspect to the story - that the girl realizes Kong's humanity and tries to save him. This makes for a much more compelling story.

This film should be in the toptens, its got great CGI, great story and Jack Black! Please please please this must be rated higher

The original was boring, forgettable and lame compared to both this and Chapter 2!

I liked the original but this one is unbeatable

I honestly preferred the classic original.
