darthvadern's: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Review

darthvadern
This is my first time writing a full review on a movie, I hope you will enjoy it.

It's been a while since the sequel to Guardians of the Glaxy was released back in early May this year and it recieved a lot of positive reviews, people loved it but they preferred the original over the sequel, Me myself watched much later, I watched this back in early August this year and I was amazed by how good this movie was! I had a hard time deciding if it was better than the original, I still don't know, beacuse there was so much good things about this movie, and alnmost no bad things about it! Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is one of Marvel's latest movies and a great movie. Without further ado, let's start! Also, spoiler free.

1: Characters:

The characters are all so interesting and good, I just love all the characters in the movie. Nebula makes a return in the movie, Nebula was one of my favorite characters from the first movie, and it wasn't beacuse of devolopment, it was beacuse she looked creative and beautiful, and the fact she was more devoloped in this movie was really a bonus! As Gamora and Nebula were my favorite characters from the first movie I of course loved them here too! Another character that appeared in the original but didn't have devolopment is Yondu, he was forgettable in the first one, but he was REALLY good in this movie, he is the most devoloped character in the movie next to Ego and Star-Lord/Peter Quil! Speaking of Ego, he's one of the new characters in the movie. And he is Peter Quill's father! He is cool. And then we have my favorite character in the movie; Mantis! She is funny, hot and helpful! She can sense what others feel, she has the power to make anyone sleep, he even made Ego the livihng planet sleep! I love her, she also had a lot of funny lines! "I just learned that I'm ugly, and that that's a good thing." I think that was a line, but I love her, the returning characters are also all good, Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket Racoon and yeah, I didn't like Baby Groot though, beacuse his dance at the beggining was cringeworthy, and he was annoying and screwed everything up, but overall, I love the characters in the movie!

2. Plot/Synopsis:

The plot for the movie is incredible, this movie tells the story of Peter Quil/Star Lords father that has found his son and he takes Star Lord and his friends to Ego's (Star Lord's fathers) planet. There's also a sub-plot involving Gamora and Nebula's relationship, I love the plots for the movie! I didn't actully think you could make a movie this interesting, I thought it was going to be a huge step down from the first movie, but it actully improved a lot! Overall, the plot is incredible!

3. Humor:

This movie was filled with so much humor and is tied up with the new pirates of the caribbean movie as being the funniest movie of the year! Drax constantly makes adult jokes and it's never boring! Ok, that dance scene in the beggining was cringworthy, but after that it was only funny jokes! Overall, the humour is incredible.

4. Special Effects:

In action movies there are usally a lot of special effects and CGI, well how are the effects in this movie? Well, let's say the CGI and stuff is incredible! The CGI is so impressive and the effects are so impressing to watch, I love the CGI! Like the scenery on egos's planet, I didn't actully think it wold have this good CGI! Now, this isn't the movie of 2017 with the best CGI and special effects, that title goes for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. But I still love the special effects and CGI and stuff, overall, great CGI!

5. Overall:

Guardians of the Glaxy Vol. 2 is an excellent movie of 2017, everything in the movie feels needed, some lines are very iconic and memorable such as "I can't believe I'm in love with a space man." or "You feel sexual love, for her." I don't remember the full lines but it was something like that, awesomne characters, very interseting plot, funny jokes and super impressive special effects makes up of of Marvels best sequels of all time and one of the best movies of 2017!

9 of 10 = Awesomne Time, GotG Vol. 2 isn't a flawless masterpiece, but it comes very close to it and I think the upcoming sequel may even be better than this one!

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 82%, 88% of audiences liked it, My score; 89%
