Top 10 Best Movies of 2020
The Top Ten
This movie is so good. First off, we got a redisign, which proves the people wanted this movie to be really good. Next, the characters and plot is likesble. I thought the humans would be confusing, but they actually seem right in this movie after we learned about them. I also like the many references in this movie that sonic fans will enjoy, but the references doesn't distract you from the movie. The message is also cool. This and detective pikachu proved live action game movies can be good. I also like how we see tails at the end, which means we will most likely get a sequel, especially because Tails was looking for Sonic. All in all S teir movie. Not only best movie of 2020, but best movie EVER MADE!-MarioMaster101 (I forgot my information so I just wrote my profile name)
I think this is a good movie. Sure the story is generic and the acting is just OK but I think it is great visually and I was laughing a lot watching this movie. They made a lot of good jokes out of Sonic's speed and Jim Carrey's performance as Eggman was just amazing. Also I love how the crazy guy's drawing of Sonic looks like Sanic. That's just awesome. Sure there were a few problems but this is better than most video game movies out there and it's great that they fixed Sonic's original design because the movie might have done worse if they didn't fix it. It cost a delay for the movie but it was worth it in my opinion. Overall I recommend it.
I finally got around to seeing this a few weeks ago and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. Nothing in the movie feels forced, the acting is some of the best I've seen in any video game movie (even though that's a low bar to clear), and the visual gags left me in stitches, not to mention an appearance by a certain other Sonic character that strongly hints towards a sequel. Nintendo's got massive shoes to fill with Illumination's Mario. Watch this movie. 9/10
This honestly surprised me. I wasn't anticipating that a video game movie wouldn't suck for once. Jim Carrey was easily the best thing about the movie. I wish there could've been actual music from the games like Live and Learn, or Open Your Heart that's my only complaint really. Well there is more product placement than necessary too but that doesn't detract from how good it is as a whole. I would give it a 7.5/10.
This movie was pretty good. It was funny how it flopped in the theaters and went straight to Disney+. The only thing I found that was disappointing was that the whole movie the main characters were trying to bring their dad back to life. Although at the end of movie, only one of the main characters saw the dad. We didn't even really get to see him. So I was kind of sad that we barely get to see the dad for 5 minutes. Besides that, this movie was actually great.
Technically, you could see their dad in the photographs in Ian's room. They did that to prove the overall theme in the movie that Ian never really knew his dad, and didn't need to. Barley was always there for him when he thought he didn't have anyone to comfort him.
This movie was legendary.
Pixar always has the best movie plots. Like, seriously. Their whole theme is so awesome! (The "what-if" theme in all their movies)
I love this animation studio, and what they did with this movie. It's something that a LOT of people can relate to. I won't say anymore about it, but it's really a phenomenal film. Go watch it on Disney+! :D
Easily the best movie I saw from this year yet. That's because the competition isn't very high, but Onward is still very good, and it might stay the best because of Coronavirus.
Most original Disney movie in years although it flopped HARD in the box office and went straight to Disney + only because of the Coronavirus and not because of the film.
I honestly can't think of any other person besides Margot Robbie who can play Harley to such a tee. Even though I think the story in this film is extremely flawed, you gotta admit, it was fun to watch.
Way better than sonic and onward! Amazing action , soundtrack , story , and acting
Fantastic, funny and heartwarming film!
This movie was good and I love harley
I love this movie especially when Robert downy jr is in it
Surprised to see this 4th. I thought it was hated.
This movie is well done, I enjoyed it :)
It was ok in my opinion. I liked the cultural references, especially that f-bomb joke. It was quite entertaining to watch, but it was missing the mystery element of its source and Shaggy and Velma's voices don't fit in. If they are gonna do a sequel, hopefully it does better, and Shaggy and Velma get new voices. Overall, not the best movie of 2020, but pretty well done.
I wish there was a twist at the end. Shaggy sounded strange. I like that they talk about real stores and things like walmart, ikea, and netflix. They even got real people like Simon Cowell. Most kid movies have a lot of fake stuff which makes the movie boring.
This movie is the best movie ever made I love it especially the Hollywood one. MY favourite character is Scoob doo very funny as well.
Hilarious! Little kids will for sure love it.
This movie felt strange to me because I had never watched the previous two but I was fun regardless. I guess, I'll vote for it too.
A surprisingly great entry to the Bad Boys series
Best of the year so far.
Best bad boys movie
An American direct-to-video adult animated science fantasy superhero film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and distributed by Warner Home Video.
Awesome movie all the action just so amazing
I watched it and it mostly feels like a really long episode. It's like 30% movie, 70% indistinguishable from a normal episode.
Wish I could vote for this multiple times
It’s if an episode of this show was the length of a movie
It’s impractical jokers. It’s great.
If you are willing to discipline yourself off from social media and/or the internet as a whole, this documentary is definitely a go, especially by younger generations who are attached to social media. Many people spend hours scrolling through social media sites without realizing what they're doing to their mental health and their privacy; it's a subtle addiction and I was affected by this, a fairly long time ago. Within the past six months, I did an internet detox, and restrained my addiction from social media sites and eventually found myself a new hobby that I love. I'm confident to say that my attention span and mental health has been increased.
By cutting off from social media, your attention span will increase, you will be more connected to your family, but most importantly your mental health will improve, and you'll relearn how to think; you will feel free to yourself. No distractions, no angry-inducing news, etc. I'm not telling you to quit the internet as a whole, but ...more
I figure all of humanity will be better off taking the extra time to consider the ideas presented in this netflix documentary.
Suspense done right. The Invisible Man is a scary, tense, and anxiety-inducing film that will keep you invested from start to finish, and it's ofter scarier than what you can see. Elizabeth Moss gives us a realistic performance that shreds emotion throughout.
This movie is well worth a watch, even if you don't like horror movies.
Way more creepier than the original - Youtubemonster
Better than original tbh
Best film of the year EASILY.
dude, it isn't even a movie. they just filmed the musical. plus, hamiltons voice is obnoxious and distracting. just cause the guy wrote the darn play doesn't mean he has to act in it! get someone with REAL talent! STUPID!
Amazing musical! Please don’t pull this. Like Lin Manuel Miranda said “It’s the story of America then told by America now”. Every single moment of this was stunning
I LOVED the plot and casting for this movie! Each character has their own personality, and It was overall an amazing movie.
I personally don't count this as a movie, but if I would it would definitely be my favorite movie of the year so far.
An amazing, epic film.
It is the best
Hilarious! Both Dave and Chloe are stars in this movie.
the best so far
This movie was SOOO GOOOOD
Awesome, my family and I were all waiting for #2 and the movie did not disappoint!
Better than the first one id say
Better than the first
Great movie. 5 stars
I went to see this with my friend, and this movie gave us all the feels!
I've seen this 3 times at the cinema! Worth it
I love this movie it is a good movie
Ok this is like my fave movie of 2020! Long live Harrison Ford!
#BoycottMulan Don't support a company and actress that support a totalitarian regime blatantly oppressing people and perpetrating a genocide
Great reboot! Better than the animated version! I adore the filming!
I haven’t even seen it, but I already know it will be good. #DisneyIsAWESOME
It's pretty good, but there are still better Christian bases movies out there like I Can Only Imagine. Good story, I just didn't get the emotional aspect of this film which it was aiming for.
This movie was awesome regardless of what any hater says. I'm looking forward a sequel. Make it happen, Sony!
This movie had my jaw on the floor throughout its runtime. I send mad respect to whoever envisioned it along with all the others who brought it to fruition. The protagonist was so badass and the way the two women fought each other to sacrifice themselves in the end made me shed tears, and I'm a 23-year-old male. Now this is the kind of movies I want Hollywood to make.
I've thought that this was an okay movie. It has some good suspense, production design, and acting. My biggest problem with this movie is that it's been done to death.
I don't have much to say, other than that it's a movie better than most January releases.
Intense, scary, fantastic creature design, and one hell of a ending
This movie was decent, but it just felt too short. Most of the acting was good, but nothing to remember. The one exception was Josh Gad's performance, which was hilarious!
This movie was EPIC!
