Greatest Movies About Real Life Serial Killers

The Top Ten
1 Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez)

Not accurate but still very well done

2 Bundy: A Legacy of Evil (Ted Bundy)
3 Raising Jeffrey Dahmer (Jeffrey Dahmer)
4 Gacy (John Wayne Gacy)
5 Son of Sam (David Berkowitz)

The definition of crazy

6 Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (Henry Lee Lucas)

Hm what can I say about this

7 Boston Strangler (Albert DeSalvo)

Makes you think doesn't it

8 Monster (Aileen Wuornos)

Captures her disturbed personality

9 The Hunt for the Green River Killer (Gary Ridgway)
10 America's Serial Killers: Portraits in Evil (Various)

This is actually more of a documentary movie, but I think it deserves a spot on this list because it talks about many different serial killers and gives insight on as to why they commit such horrible acts of violence. It even shows clips from movies based on these killers. It's actually quite interesting.

The Contenders
11 The Lodger (1944)

Based on Jack the Ripper.

12 Starkweather (Charles Starkweather)

Most think he's a spree killer but he's both a serial and spree

13 The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter (Charles Manson)

This is more of a documentary, but I think it more than well deserves a spot on this list because it actually tells you a lot about Charles Manson and the Tate/LaBianca murders carried out by his 'family'. This is actually very detailed.

14 The Lodger (Jack the Ripper)
15 The Iceman (Richard Kuklinski)
16 The Bad Seed (Jane Toppan)
17 Karla (Karla Homolka & Paul Bernardo)
18 The Ted Bundy Story (Ted Bundy)
