Several of his movies are all-time favorites of mine but nothing can beat this unforgettable gem. Plus, the music is just as spellbinding and hauntingly beautiful as the movie itself. David Lynch may have used this as inspiration towards the amazing Twin Peaks which has some very eerie similarities including the two beautiful young women that are both tragic figures, Miranda and Laura Palmer. Top notch stuff here!
