Top 10 Movies that Were Commercially Misleading
When these movies were advertised you thought you would know what you we're going to see, but then you saw the movie it wasn't what the advertisements lead you to believe."The untold story" Nothing is untold. It's just the same Peter gets bitten by a spider and becomes Spider-Man story we've already seen in Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man movie! Nothing is untold in this movie it's just commercially misleading to a new level.
The trailer was misleading and claimed that the Joker had a huge part in this movie, spoiler alert: he doesn't. The Joker rarely appears and has a small impact on the movie. I could go on... but I think someone else can finish it.
Now while I wouldn't exactly call it bad, my biggest problem with Sponge Out of Water was that even though all the commercials were showing all these live-action scenes of SpongeBob and his friends being in the human world and transformed into superheroes, these scenes were actually only used in just the last few minutes of the movie since the majority of the movie was actually just traditional animation focusing on Bikini Bottom falling into apocalypse over the Krabby Patty Secret Formula being stolen by some human burger pirate. That doesn't necessarily mean that I hated this movie, but I was just let down by a few expectations that I had for this film.
Yeah it was especially commercially misleading with the superhero abilities enough said.
The advertisements hyped it up so much and it wasn't what the commercials were saying it was. There was barely any actually Batman v Superman in this movie! It was just several plot lines thrown into one movie with no idea what to do with them!
At least the Ultimate Edition was better...
