Top Ten Movies that Will Not Stand the Test of TimeSplashMoun10 Whether they're great, mediocre, or downright awful, none of these films are very likely to stand the test of time.
The Top Ten
I'm sure everyone expected to see this film on here, and for good reason. The only thing about this film that I can really see holding up is the song "Let it Go," as overrated as it is. The rest of the songs are pretty bad, the story and characters are boring, and there's just nothing to this film that makes me think "Yep, that's going to be a beloved classic 20 years from now." - SplashMoun10
In 20 years, they'll probably STILL sell Elsa dolls that sing Let it Go
Yep, Totally Agree, But it sadly it has because of all the milked merchandise - VideoGamefan5
Oh goody, the DCEU is just an absolute embarrassment isn't it? In my opinion, it's going to take a miracle for them to recover from the disasters of both BvS and Suicide Squad (and MoS to an extent), unfortunately, I just can't see that miracle happening. Sure, this film may have its fair share of fans now, but 10 years down the line, it's going to be seen as another Batman and Robin. - SplashMoun10
Enough Said - VideoGamefan5
Those lame pop culture references and preaching won't have any meaning once Trump's out of office
That the word "timely" was thrown around so much in praise of this film says it all.
Let's face it; this only git popular because of the political environment it was released in
Ooh, I'm not going to make friends with this pick... Ignoring my own personal feelings towards this film (which are rather negative I'll have you know), I just don't think this movie is going to age very well and become a timeless classic like Beauty and the Beast, which is probably one of the biggest problems that I have with it. With the modern-day setting and all the pop culture references, I just cannot see it holding up. - SplashMoun10V 2 Comments
As if this movie hasn't taken enough of a beating... Objectively poorly made and filled to the brim with popular songs of the time, there's no way this film is holding up. - SplashMoun10
I Have no words - VideoGamefan5
It's a good movie, but once again, it's just a thing of it's time. It's only been 5 years since it was first released and the hype around the entire series has already died down considerably. Whereas something like Harry Potter still has people talking about it despite the main film series ending in 2011. - SplashMoun10
I Liked it, Catching fire was better though - VideoGamefan5
Oh Twilight... Remember when that was a thing? These films were all monsters at the box office and try as you might, you couldn't avoid hearing about them. But now, it's 2017. When's the last time you've heard someone talk about any of these films? - SplashMoun10
This movie also already died out - VideoGamefan5
This Won't Even Last A Year - VideoGamefan5
Prepare For The Force Awakens To Be Added In 3...2...1! - VideoGamefan5
I actually think I fell asleep during this movie in the theatre. This was dissapointing especially after how good the force awaken was.
Worst movie ever - VideoGamefan5
All of them suck. - iliekpiez
The first Transformers is decent, at least in comparison to its god-awful sequels. However, it's definitely a thing of its time and I'd be surprised if it was still popular 10 years down the road. - SplashMoun10
The first movie was good, the others stink - VideoGamefan5
Need I say anything? - VideoGamefan5
I think it will, but hey its your opinion - VideoGamefan5
This movie won't. but Guardians and The Winter Soldier will.
Again, I'm probably not going to make friends with this pick. Don't get me wrong, I like the Avengers and the MCU in general, but I don't think these films are/were made with longetivity in mind. To me, it's just kind of a thing of its time. - SplashMoun10
Well that was a waste of my time.
Let’s just erase this crap from existence and our minds! - BlazingParasol
It's 2017, This Movie Came Out A Year ago, And People Are Still Remembering This Garbage? , LOL - VideoGamefan5
Why would this ever stand the test of time? - VideoGamefan5
It will be forgotten quickly.
I've never understood the appeal of the Despicable Me movies. Oh wait, actually I do. THE MINIONS. That's right, without these annoying, yellow, pill-shaped cretins, these films probably wouldn't be half as popular as they are now. The first Despicable Me movie certainly isn't bad, but it's nothing special either, and I doubt it's going to be looked back on with much esteem. - SplashMoun10
The first 2 were great in my opinio - VideoGamefan5
I loved fantastic 4 so much. I watched the movies with Chris Evans and Johnny and loved them then watched the one with Miles Teller and I'm not sure anymore. If you haven't watched the latest remake of Fantastic 4? , Then save yourself and your opinion of these marvel heroes and DON'T WATCH IT!
This Movie already died out, so let's forget about it - VideoGamefan5
THEY FEMINISTS - VideoGamefan5
It was good, but it won't really stand the test of time.
Nah, this was the best movie of the year. - DCfnaf

Same as finding dory - VideoGamefan5
This Movie Is Already Dead And It Hasn't Even Come Out Yet! - VideoGamefan5
It seriously won't survive - VideoGamefan5
It tries too hard to be hip and cool
Sadly, It Probably Will, Because of the fact it just got a sequel recently, and it's getting Another ONE? , In 2018, - VideoGamefan5
This movie sucks and has put a terrible taste in recent memory. Switch Rogue One with this overrated trash.
Haha, here it is VGF5. The trolls have attacked. - DCfnaf
Won't even stand the test of time!
Even the novelty of the Disney Princesses in those stupid graphic tees and acting "woke" is sure to wear off.
"Shrek" and "The Emoji Movie" just had a baby, and it is UGLY!
It's looking more and more like this will address (read: throw in everyone's face and beat people over the head with) sexism the way Zootopia "addressed" racism. Geez, Disney, stop pandering to the Tumbrlinas! They were never your true target audience.
Already named after a dead meme, features a character named "Yes" (clearly derived from "yasss"), other movies which heavily featured the internet haven't held up.V 2 Comments
It's going to focus on gender issues the way Zootopia focused on racism. Timely issues do not equal timeless film.
