Top Ten Movies that Will Not Stand the Test of Time

Whether they're great, mediocre, or downright awful, none of these films are very likely to stand the test of time.
The Top Ten
1 Frozen

I'm sure everyone expected to see this film on here, and for good reason. The only thing about this film that I can really see holding up is the song "Let it Go," as overrated as it is. The rest of the songs are pretty bad, the story and characters are boring, and there's just nothing to this film that makes me think "Yep, that's going to be a beloved classic 20 years from now."

Yep, Totally Agree, But it sadly it has because of all the milked merchandise

In 20 years, they'll probably STILL sell Elsa dolls that sing Let it Go

2 Suicide Squad

As if this movie hasn't taken enough of a beating... Objectively poorly made and filled to the brim with popular songs of the time, there's no way this film is holding up.

I Have no words

3 Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

Oh goody, the DCEU is just an absolute embarrassment isn't it? In my opinion, it's going to take a miracle for them to recover from the disasters of both BvS and Suicide Squad (and MoS to an extent), unfortunately, I just can't see that miracle happening. Sure, this film may have its fair share of fans now, but 10 years down the line, it's going to be seen as another Batman and Robin.

4 Zootopia

Though if Disney goes through with their "blue sky" vision of putting a Zootopia section in Animal Kingdom... ugh. Yes, I am well aware that Zootopia is a bunch of preachy animals, but it is nevertheless an urban setting, way out of place in a park otherwise dedicated to conservation and nature.

Ooh, I'm not going to make friends with this pick... Ignoring my own personal feelings towards this film (which are rather negative I'll have you know), I just don't think this movie is going to age very well and become a timeless classic like Beauty and the Beast, which is probably one of the biggest problems that I have with it. With the modern-day setting and all the pop culture references, I just cannot see it holding up.

Those lame pop culture references and preaching won't have any meaning once Trump's out of office

Let's face it; this only git popular because of the political environment it was released in

5 Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

Maybe if Disney didn't keep pushing the "comfy squad" (read: the very flanderized Disney Princesses rocking American Apparel)...

It's looking more and more like this will address (read: throw in everyone's face and beat people over the head with) sexism the way Zootopia "addressed" racism. Geez, Disney, stop pandering to the Tumbrlinas! They were never your true target audience.

Already named after a dead meme, features a character named "Yes" (clearly derived from "yasss"), other movies which heavily featured the internet haven't held up.

Even the novelty of the Disney Princesses in those stupid graphic tees and acting "woke" is sure to wear off.

6 Transformers

The first Transformers is decent, at least in comparison to its god-awful sequels. However, it's definitely a thing of its time and I'd be surprised if it was still popular 10 years down the road.

The first movie was good, the others stink

All of them suck.

7 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

I actually think I fell asleep during this movie in the theatre. This was dissapointing especially after how good the force awaken was.

Prepare For The Force Awakens To Be Added In 3...2...1!

This Won't Even Last A Year

Worst movie ever

8 Norm of the North

It's 2017, This Movie Came Out A Year ago, And People Are Still Remembering This Garbage? , LOL

Why would this ever stand the test of time?

9 The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Need I say anything?

10 Despicable Me

I've never understood the appeal of the Despicable Me movies. Oh wait, actually I do. THE MINIONS. That's right, without these annoying, yellow, pill-shaped cretins, these films probably wouldn't be half as popular as they are now. The first Despicable Me movie certainly isn't bad, but it's nothing special either, and I doubt it's going to be looked back on with much esteem.

The Contenders
11 Twilight

Oh Twilight... Remember when that was a thing? These films were all monsters at the box office and try as you might, you couldn't avoid hearing about them. But now, it's 2017. When's the last time you've heard someone talk about any of these films?

This movie also already died out

12 Ghostbusters (2016)
13 The Emoji Movie

This Movie Is Already Dead And It Hasn't Even Come Out Yet!

It tries too hard to be hip and cool

It seriously won't survive

14 Sausage Party
15 The Hunger Games

It's a good movie, but once again, it's just a thing of it's time. It's only been 5 years since it was first released and the hype around the entire series has already died down considerably. Whereas something like Harry Potter still has people talking about it despite the main film series ending in 2011.

I Liked it, Catching fire was better though

16 Finding Dory

This Comment Also Goes To The Lego Batman Movie, while I Highly Enjoyed Both Movies, Both Of Them Didn't Feel Unique

17 The Lego Batman Movie

Same as finding dory

18 The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

It's going to focus on gender issues the way Zootopia focused on racism. Timely issues do not equal timeless film.

19 The Avengers

Again, I'm probably not going to make friends with this pick. Don't get me wrong, I like the Avengers and the MCU in general, but I don't think these films are/were made with longetivity in mind. To me, it's just kind of a thing of its time.

This movie won't. but Guardians and The Winter Soldier will.

I think it will, but hey its your opinion

20 Sing
21 Fifty Shades of Grey

Sadly, It Probably Will, Because of the fact it just got a sequel recently, and it's getting Another ONE? , In 2018,

22 Fantastic Four

I loved fantastic 4 so much. I watched the movies with Chris Evans and Johnny and loved them then watched the one with Miles Teller and I'm not sure anymore. If you haven't watched the latest remake of Fantastic 4? , Then save yourself and your opinion of these marvel heroes and DON'T WATCH IT!

This Movie already died out, so let's forget about it

23 Jurassic Park III
24 Rough Night

It will be forgotten quickly.

25 Lilo & Stitch

Unfortunately, Disney still markets Stitch.
