1 Jackie Evancho Jackie Evancho Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho (born April 9, 2000) is an American classical crossover singer who gained wide recognition at an early age and, since 2009, has issued an EP and seven albums, including a platinum and gold album and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts. I'm not the only one who thinks that something's amiss, and I neither like nor dislike Evancho. - PositronWildhawk

She's extremely talented, but she's number one on every single music list-even if it isn't about music! Not saying she doesn't deserve the acclaim, but saying that others do as well! - keycha1n

This is so annoying because I am voting for Amy Lee in the female singer lists. - 05yusuf09

Right now there are 31 music-related lists on the new-feed, Jackie Evancho is not on any of them.

Pretty shocking that anyone thinks that constitutes "taking over", but what appears to be happening is that a lot of kids are unhappy that someone about their age has managed to be successful without being rebellious.

Between that and her usually Classical repertoire, some of the resident TTT'ers think she is uncool and therefore unworthy of any kind of high praise.

Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, and a bunch of others with close to zero talent appear on far more lists than JE, and have substantially more total votes.

When you start talking about who has the actual best singing voice, best vocal range, etc. , that's the point, she is already better than almost anybody EVER, and the list of the world's finest musicians who have already collaborated with her is extensive; Streisand, Bennett, SumiJo, Brightman, Carreras, etc, ...more

"Every single" list?

There are 22 music lists in the current new feed, this is the only one that has Jackie Evancho on it.

She is not on any lists that are about rap, metal, hip-hop, rock, electronica, country, dance, instrumental, screamo, reggae, or any of the ****-cores, also not on anything regarding the 20th Century, singers from anywhere except the US, anyone born before the year 2000, recordings done before 2009, or male singers of any kind at all.

That means she is not even eligible for 95-percent of all music-related lists.

Jackie Evancho is certainly not The Beatles, but neither is anyone else [including Queen, Zep, MJ, or whoever], and even The Beatles are not #1 on every list where they appear, so the nature of The Top Tens favors whoever gets the votes, period.

Her votes are legitimate, real votes from real people, but Top Tens appears to re-set about every 60 days, so I am sure at least some votes are repeats at that ...more
