Some music artists are prolific - this doesn't always mean quality but some of the albums released in one year were incredible.
I admit it was difficult to find a balance between quality and quantity of the albums by the respective artists.

I put them at #1 because they released 3 classic LPs consisting of 26 songs, 22 of which written by John Fogerty.

From 1963 to 1965, the Beatles released two albums each year, and though there's an argument to be made for each Beatles album being a classic in its own right, the band released two unimpeachable classics in 1967: Sgt.
