Can't you just imagine Queen doing a Bond theme in their heyday? It could be stylistically similar to "Live and Let Die"--a rocker powered by Freddie's voice and piano. Think "Don't Stop Me Now" or "Under Pressure." - PetSounds
These songs don't seem stable for the movie but if they REWRITTEN that song live and let die I would be astonished and pushed off by a great tremendous force - Kevinsidis
I couldn't agree more with this #1 item (it doesn't happen very often to me). - Metal_Treasure
This Would Be Very Theatrical - BeatlesFan1964

Speaking of "Under Pressure," Bowie could have provided an awesome glam rocker in Roger Moore's early days, a quirky experimental piece in the Pierce Brosnan era, or even a cheesy pop tune in the '80s. I guess it's technically still possible, albeit unlikely.
The theme for Quantum of Solace was a collaboration, so why not imagine him teaming up with Queen? - PetSounds
Great list, PetSounds!
David Bowie would be amazing! He'd be perfect! - Britgirl

6 The Doors
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore.
The timing is all wrong. Their music wouldn't have suited any of the Connery/Lazenby movies, and Jim Morrison didn't live long enough for any others. Assuming time travel is possible, I think they'd be perfect for Dalton or Craig. Although I can't imagine them working well with the musical director. - PetSounds
Jim could have had a cameo role in the film, probably a fight scene.
Indeed, the thought of Jim co-operating with a antsy Musical Director is kind of funny.

She reportedly already has the inside track to sing the theme to the film version of Game of Thrones, her ethereal, otherworldly voice would definitely lend itself to a Bond film depending on the script.

Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio, after he left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath member, drummer Vinny Appice.
Dio had a powerful and flawless voice suitable for epic OST.
Think Holy Diver, Don't Talk To Strangers, Rainbow In The Dark.
Holy diver even has a creepy intro.
Also Evil Eyes - a song to pair with the racing scenes. James Bond had Golden Eyes, so why not a song like Evil Eyes, too? - Metal_Treasure
