Kanye West is an incredible artist, always pushing hip hop's boundaries with unconventional sounds and genre blending.
College Dropout and Late Registration we're his ride to fame, where he showed an alternative side to the rap scene, something different than the gangster rap that dominated the genre at the time.
With Graduation, Kanye combined his hip hop style with electronic music to create a sound that felt almost futuristic. 808s and Heartbreak took the idea further, and it's mellow beats proved to be ahead of it's time.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy had so many layers of depth in both production and content that it was regarded as an instant classic. Not much else needs to be said.
That brings us to Yeezus and The Life of Pablo. These albums are the most experimental Kanye has ever been and prove he is truly a master of sounds. Kanye uses industrial beats and clashes it with subject matter, going essentially gospel-like on some tracks on The Life of ...more

Sgt. Peppers, and Abbey Road alone would put them at #1, but when you add in the White Album, Rubber Soul, and Revolver, its not even close. The fact that Queen is #1 is ridiculous. Queen only has two widely known albums (A Night at the Opera and Queen 2) and neither of them are as good as any of the 5 I just listed. Whenever you have 13 studio albums, and Yellow Submarine is your worst, and you have 5 of the top 10 albums ever according to most critics, you have far and away the greatest discography of all time.

The Newcomers

? Eagles Eagles The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner.

This is a very underappreciated discography. People recognize the greatness of the Eagles, but not their discography. It's a short, but very, very good one. They start with their self-titled album, then they have Desperado and On the Border before they come out with One of these Nights, Hotel California, and The Long Run. That streak of 3 is amazing, and when you add in their first 3, its maybe the best discography ever.

? The Who The Who The Who is an English rock band formed in London, England in 1964. The most recognizable lineup was Roger Daltrey (lead vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass guitar), and Keith Moon (drums). The Who quietly have one of the best discographies of all time. Of course they have their two magnum opus', Tommy and Who's Next, but they also have My Generation, The Kids are Alright, A Quick One, The Who Sell Out, Quadrophenia, The Who by the Numbers, and Who Are You. A very underrated discography if you ask me.
