Hatsune Miku, sometimes referred to as Miku Hatsune, is a humanoid persona voiced by a singing synthesizer application developed by Crypton Future Media.

Her voice truly represents the meaning of her name: "First voice of the future." She deserves to sing in the opening ceremony. She may not be a real person, but she is very real to her fans. I have fallen for her many songs and more are made everyday by those who use her voicebank. Hatsune Miku is not just a virtual diva. She is a worldwide superstar.

Miku has risen to the top of VOCALOID universe. While I enjoy many different Vocaloids (and would love to see the others included in the Olympics ceremonies), Miku is best suited to represent this part of the Japanese music scene.

Having her gives a clear idea of the futuristic Japan to the audience. It is even interesting to see how far can a program develop in 7 years (from 2013). It is her especially among others because she is the one who gave the boost of musical dream and innovation not only in japan but to the whole world as well.

She is much better than many human singers and performers, she MUST be in the Tokyo Olympics, much more because she is a very know modern japan culture representative.

Miku is a technological innovation that sets new standards to audio-visual entertainment! Even if she's artificial and her voice is robotic, emotions of the composers resonate through her, reaching her audience and touching their lives! Hatsune Miku is a breakthrough worth seeing by all.

Miku is definitely the fusion of Japanese technology with modern music, is undoubtedly the future of pop music.

Other singers of great success in Japan can be good, but they are not known in the West, which should be required to participate in the Olympic Games, but Miku is world famous! It is the perfect choice!

For this reason, among many others, I send my vote from Spain, and we hope, fans around the world, that Hatsune Miku participate in the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020.

Good luck Miku!

Miku is like a bond that reunites all people together because thanks to her you can bring different types of music to all the people and music can join people.it's also a sign of peace and undestanding

Miku isn't covering a single genre, there's something for everyone. If you take your time to listen you will always find something that suits your taste.

Hatsune Miku was #1 in 2012. If anyone should perform in 2020, it should be her. She has grown SO much since then and has out done hersel ten fold. Opening for Lady Gaga, still selling out shows, and did a whole Japan and North American tour! She is still relevant, if not more relevant now than she ever was! She is not some anime that has one story and that's it, she is an artist. She is powered through artists. She will never be a one trick pony, she will always have fresh new songs and ideas cause people change and she changes with them. Since 2012 she got her English voice bank that allows her to reach out to a lot more people who refuse to listen to music that is not their language. She is new, she is relevant, and she is up to the task of performing at her birthplace Japan. Not only will Japan appreciate her, but so will America, Mexico, Europe, and China. There's no way you can go wrong with a universal singer like her who sings songs from real people like you or me.

Miku is the perfect representation of Japan. She is one of the most popular singers world wide. Her songs inspire many, and it will give people a better understanding of the digital diva known as Hatsune Miku.

Hatsune Miku is a japanese "artist", and the olympics games takes place at Tokyo. So why not Hatsune Miku?

Miku is some one who everyone can connect to. I think she represents the joining of people for something better. This is why they should have Miku at the Olympics.

Despite Miku not being real, has had live concert despite the fact; and having her performing for the specific 2020 Olympics in Japan, it would show what Japan is most know for- its technological advancements. Also, Miku comes from Japan, and has stretched with success all across the world along with showing a whole new era of music presenting itself, ripe for the taking. She would do amazingly as a representation for Japan being the opening act!

She is more than a singing software, she is a materialization of the song writer's soul!

It's time for us human to invite an angel to sing at the Olympics.

MIKU has the lovely voice and she can sing every song that we want to hear. As an early work at music in computer in Japan, she is the best choose to show the great work in Japan to the world. As a character of Vocaloid, she's the most famous character.

Hatsune Miku should definitely be there. Japan being the leading edge for entertainment technology, Hatsune Miku is an invention gone extraordinarily right. With the help of the internet and the people behind it, Miku is now a messenger for collaborative creativity of the new world. We should let the rest of the world know too.

Hatsune Miku is arguably the most popular of the Vocaloids. She is a Japanese idol, so it would make sense for her to be in the opening ceremony. She has been featured in her own games several times before, which helps spread her popularity to the gamer fanbase.

Please vote Miku for 2020 Tokyo Olympics!

This is Miku's time to bright laugh out loud

Clearly miku should appear at the opening of Tokyo 2020, would have to be as bad as Ana Botella during his introduction to the Spanish candidacy to not choose it.

In my opinion at the Olympic Games internationally renowned stars should appear; I do not say that musicians like Arashi, are bad, but in the West are not known, but Miku is world famous!

A vote for miku from Spain, and we hope all international fans, who participates in the opening of the games!

If Vocaloid can sing at Olympics, then it should be Miku. She is the icon of Vocaloid, her songs oonnect our hearts and she can sing every kind of music. Her design stand for Japan and 2D culture. It will be a big kidding if any Vocaloid was chosen but not her =))

This list is probably gonna get as popular as the 2012 one - PeeledBanana

Yes, while she may be a computer program that most people can't understand what she's singing, we all love her even if most of us don't know what she's saying. And I'm tired of hearing "its fake music". Then everything is " faker music" because most people today use autotune.

Miku is the pride of Japanese pop culture. Her monumental position is undoubtable.

Do we really need a reason? It's Hatsune Miku! She should win everything without a second thought!
