Awesome Analyzation: Crumbling Dreams

DCfnaf What's happening guys, this is DCfnaf here! As you can see, I've made this list about the music of Sister Location. So I figured I'd make a post analyzing "Crumbling Dreams" (Better known as Ballora's Music Box). Now I am not entirely sure if these are supposed to be the lyrics of the song or if they are supposed to be a different song...but why would Ballora sing this while playing her music box? Anyways, check out these lyrics.

"Why do you hide inside your walls,
When there's music in my halls?
All I see is an empty room...
No more joy; An empty tune.
It's so good to sing all day...
To dance, to spin, to fly away.
All I do is dance alone...
But now I hear your flesh and bones.
I roam these halls alone all day...
But now you're here, friend and prey."

Wow. Um...those are really creepy lyrics...but also really sad and disheartening. So, those are all of the lyrics she sings in game (including her custom night lyrics). So what exactly is Ballora trying to tell us through these lyrics? Well, let's go through each line and I'll tell ya! (And believe me, the answer is...depressing)

"Why do you hide inside your walls,
When there's music in my halls?"

Well, we already have some really tragic lyrics. Fantastic. Personally, I think that Ballora is lonely. That's what is going on. She's questioning the player as to why he's hiding from her when she is performing and playing music. This really shows us she wants attention and that she is very, very lonely. She just wants someone to watch her perform.

"All I see is an empty room...
No more joy; An empty tune.
It's so good to sing all day...
To dance, to spin, to fly away"

Well...um...Ballora? You...you do know that you usually keep your eyes closed...right? Anyway, this lyric is even more heartbreaking. She says that the room she is in is always empty and she doesn't feel any happiness. She then says "An Empty Tune" (Or Tomb. Unclear which word it is). Either word works with my analyzation though. If the word is "tune", that means she is constantly singing and dancing to try and ignore her pain and loneliness. If it is "tomb" then she is referring to Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals. She is in an empty trap, where she gets controlled shocks constantly. Wow...that really sucks. The next two lines reinforce my point if the word is "tune". She is singing and dancing all day...but it doesn't help her.

"All I do is dance alone...
But now I hear your flesh and bones.
I roam these halls alone all day...
But now you're here, friend and prey"

These lyrics are separate from the other ones since they are from custom night, but she does mention that she dances alone, but now she can hear you walking around. Um...she's going to get you. I personally think the reason she wants to kill you is so that you can stay with her...for all of eternity. Wow...this is a very deep song. It really tells you a lot about Ballora's personality and character motivations. This is why Ballora is one of my favorite FNaF characters. She is one of many Sister Location Characters that you can actually sympathize with and feel bad for. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this analyzation. I'm thinking about making this a series of mine. See you around.

(P.S.: To those of you who think all of the posts are repetitive and completely unoriginal...you're welcome.)
