Top 10 Music Genres to Use in Movies

I think these music genres work best with movies. There are some things that I kept on my mind before making this list.

1. Its not about how good the genre is. Its about how appropriate these genres are for using in movies.
2. Most of these genres I added here are based on instrumental parts. I didn't really think about the lyrics or vocals.

2 Symphonic Metal

Definitely #1, especially some Blind Guardian songs - they are ready to become soundtracks: Wheel Of Time, Sacred Worlds, The Throne, Lord Of The Rings, And Then There Was Silence. These songs are great for any epic, high budget movie, best for fantasy and history movies.

I became interested on Symphonic Metal from hearing them on movies.

Bad Religion, Sex Pistols, and Green Day (actually pop-punk, which is still punk in a way) are a few punk rock bands. The subgenre influenced thrash metal because of it's down stroked guitar playing and other factors.
