21 Johnny Cash Johnny Cash John R. "Johnny" Cash was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and author, who was widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide.

Why is Cash not in the top ten? Top five? Top three? He was what ask musicians strive to be. He was a musician for the people, loved by the people, and you listened to him when he sang. And if you had the guts to speak when he was singing, you'd learn fast to shut up and listen. Ask any musician, and they'll tell you that yeah...Johnny was the ultimate musician.

Johnny Cash deserves to live forever. He's one of only a few people that's is in the country and rock and roll's hall of fame he's the greatest

Many people who say they don't like country music will still say they love Johnny.

He and Hendrix would be my Top 2 - jack2244

Aaliyah I would absolutely bring back to life because not only was her music good and she was beautiful but she could also Dance I loved her Dance moves, she Dance so confident and made every dance step look so sexy but Hip Hop at the same time, and her face was worth a million dollars she was beautiful and her movies were really good Queen of the Damned is still one of the best Vampire movies ever Aaliyah we miss so much I just wish she'll come back to us I am about to cry.

Aaliyah was just entering her prime at the time of her death. She sang like an angel and had great dance moves. What I really love about her is her personality, she was never trashy. Aaliyah carried herself like a lady, she was very mature for her age and she was very sweet. The angels took her too soon, I wasn't even born at the time of her passing. RIP Baby girl, she really should be higher on this list - FlakyCuddles43

She was a pioneer, and was on her way to becoming the next janet jackson or pop icon taking over the music world. Music hasn't been the same since she left. Its quality has gone down dramatically.

My favourite dead rock stars are John Bonham and Cliff Burton. We need the world's greatest drummer back to life. - Nintendonix

This guy needs to be in the top 3. Never has been and never will be another drummer like him. The raw power and emotion is unheralded. There's no knowing what he and Zep would have accomplished. Long live Bono.

Simply marvellous is the expression for this beauty! Her voice lurred you to go pass just enjoying the song to actually listening to the lyrics! Shes a legend! I wish I met her before she died. She didn't deserve to die so early

The queen of jazz. Should be higher on the list!

An amazing talent, gone too soon.
