Musicians You Would Bring Back From the Deadjestina1292
The Contenders: Page 2
Why is Cash not in the top ten? Top five? Top three? He was what ask musicians strive to be. He was a musician for the people, loved by the people, and you listened to him when he sang. And if you had the guts to speak when he was singing, you'd learn fast to shut up and listen. Ask any musician, and they'll tell you that yeah...Johnny was the ultimate musician.
Johnny Cash deserves to live forever. He's one of only a few people that's is in the country and rock and roll's hall of fame he's the greatest
Many people who say they don't like country music will still say they love Johnny.

Layne, Layne, Layne! I pick Layne. He was so incredible, his voice and musical talent will never be duplicated. He was growing musically before he died, I can only imagine the incredible music he would have made had he lived longer. Truly an amazing talent! RIP Angry Angel We Miss You
He didn't deserve to die. He is the best singer and was a great person too. Why couldn't a less talented musician die? I am not happy that I was never able to see him in concert - Lucretia
I wish we could trade Gene Simmons for Layne Staley and/or Ronnie James Dio and/or Lemmy Kilmister. - CostcoHotDogs
Layne should definitely be in the top 10! He had a beautiful voice and it was taken away from us, I would love to see it back.
Man, let's get Layne up to the top 10V 2 Comments
he is simply the worlds greatest with his inspirational music and talent, and all his children have followed in the footsteps of this legend. No. 1
He was a great singer who made some of the best music ever and he needs to be at least top 10 on this list. His quotes were amazing and deep. He was the best musician of his time.
Brought Reggae to the rest of the world. Great, great musician. - Wii360
Bob Marley was the only REAL artist on this list, he deserves to be at the top.V 5 Comments
Can't believe I had to add this legend
Good thing you did.
He was taken too soon
Forty-two, thirty-nine, fifty-six
You could say she's got it all - dek
If Randy would live more, he would be the best guitarist for now. He had so much talent and it was so bad that he died.
One of my favorite guitarists of all time. His work on all the three Ozzy Osborne albums is nothing short of perfect - Crazy Trains, for example, has one of the most recognizable riffs ever.
No way he belongs here, he had SO many great years ahead of him - UFasten8Me

This guy is supposed to be number 1. Died in his prime, his death was a tragedy. The best drummer that ever lived and along with the rest of Led Zeppelin made the best songs ever heard.
Why the hell isn't this higher up? This man made history every song he played was the work of god
Awesome drummer ever too bad he died should be higher on the list especially cause he died young so we never got to see what Led Zeppelin could done
This guy needs to be in the top 3. Never has been and never will be another drummer like him. The raw power and emotion is unheralded. There's no knowing what he and Zep would have accomplished. Long live Bono.V 3 Comments
Man such a great ARTIST. Simply put, I miss him!
Prince was loved by everyone. Was a great artist in the 80s which in my 45 years was the best time in music.
I want to bring her back from the dead as a necromancer when Lisa dies and becomes a ghost. - Fandomstuck
If he still alive he is going to be one of the best Vocalists alive... Nobody will ever forget you chuck you were the best Death Metal Vocalist and you were genius.. And also you were the best death metal guitarist - nooreldeen
We miss you Chuck. I listened to Human while driving home and I shed tears knowing that such a great man no longer walks this earth. Always in our hearts though.
Death metal live long! Thanks chuck for inventing such a wonderful genre
He didn't deserve to get cancer so young. - LucretiaV 4 Comments
Selena is a true legend in the world of music. What Elvis did for rock, and what Bob Marley did for raegge, is basically what Selena did for Tejano music - she popularized it on both a national and a global level. Among her many achievements is being the only female musical artist to ever have 5 albums on the charts simultaneously, being the first Tejano artist to win a Grammy or have a record certified ""Gold", and being the first Latin artist to have an album debut at number 1. Selena displayed the humility, class and grace of a true artist, both onstage and off, and a genuine love and appreciation for her fans. She was also very community-oriented, working with shelters for victims of domestic violence, going to schools to talk to kids about staying off drugs and the importance of an education, and sometimes donating the money she made from a show to various charities. She inspired millions, and continues to do so in both a professional and a personal sense.
Yet another artist that died while entering her prime. She will never see the success of her crossover album - FlakyCuddles43
Amazing and beautiful person. Never forgot where she came from.
Selena is Timeless! Her voice, her style, her moves. All sounds fresh today as the day it was recorded. Selena continues to inspire and pick up new fans thanks to her timeless talents and the well made movie on her life starring Jennifer Lopez. Selena will live on now and forever!

Buddy, so much in such a short time, you died in 1959 at age of 22, and we still miss you.
Buddy Holly is one of the first people I think of, with singer-songwriters who should have kept living...
While he isn't top pick he should be up there. He was only 22 - 2storm
"The Day the Music Died" was a very sad day.
Simply marvellous is the expression for this beauty! YOU SEE, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOMEONE LIKE beyonce and her is that beyonces voice can easily be immitated but amy had a certain deepness but gentleness to her voice. It could speak to you. Her voice lurred you to go pass just enjoying the song to actually listening to the lyrics! Shes a legend! I wish I met her before she died. She didn't deserve to die so early
The queen of jazz. Should be higher on the list!
An amazing talent, gone too soon.
This cutie should be at #1. - FandomstuckV 2 Comments
With all due respect to Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood, nobody could replace Brian. I would have love to see what Brian could have done post-StonesV 1 Comment
Best metal vocalist and probably the single most talented vocalist of all time.
