Top Ten Musicians Named Mick

Mick is one of the more common names in rock music history. Here are some of my favorite examples.
The Top Ten
1 Mick Jagger Sir Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger is an English singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the lead vocalist and a co-founder of the Rolling Stones.

The most obvious example. Mick has become so recognizable within and without the Rolling Stones that I think most, if not all, humans in the US and England will recognize him.

Definitely the most famous Mick in music, but his surname is even more famous. This man can do no wrong.

Most obvious choice for number one.

2 Mick Ronson

Best known for his guitar work with David Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust period. He is a tremendously underrated guitarist in my opinion, and also a great arranger, too.

3 Mick Taylor Michael Kevin Taylor is an English musician, best known as a former member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and the Rolling Stones.

He played lead guitar in The Rolling Stones from 1969 to 1974. He's fantastic; just listen to his playing on "Sway" or "Can't You Hear Me Knocking".

Mick taylor should be at the top of the list, right next to mick jagger

4 Mick Avory

The original drummer for The Kinks. He stayed with them up until the mid 80s.

5 Mick Jones (The Clash)

Lead guitarist and secondary vocalist for The Clash. He's probably my favorite Clash member.

6 Mick Ralphs

Played guitar in Bad Company. He has great feel and technique.

7 Mick Fleetwood

The drummer in Fleetwood Mac; also the only guy who's never left the band.

8 Mick Hucknall

The frontman for Simply Red, who's also had a fairly successful career as a solo artist.

9 Mick Jones (Foreigner)

The lead guitarist for Foreigner, and the only person who has been with them throughout their entire existence.

10 Mick Mars Robert Alan Deal, known professionally as Mick Mars, is an American musician, guitarist and founding member of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe.

Guitar player for Motley Crue.

He was known for popularizing Irish-folk music in the U.S.
