A lot of us love mystery shows, (me too) and I thought we needed a list of our favorite ones! I did decribsions of the first four, just so you know what they are. Hope you like the list!

The Top Ten Mystery Television Shows and Movies

1 Psych Psych is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks and broadcast on USA Network with syndicated reruns on ION Television.

Consistently makes me laugh out loud. Can be slightly formulaic, but in an enjoyable way.

Psych is a funny series about a guy who is very irresponsible and can't keep a job, whose name is Shawn Spencer (James Roday) who claims to be psychic when he tips in on a case for the Santa Barbara police department and is the main suspect. He gets a job there, and calls in his best friend, Burton Guster, Gus for short, (Dule Hill) to help him. They are immediatly hated by Detective Carlton Lassiter, Lassie for short, (Timothy Omundson) and his partner, which gets tranfered later on and a new detective comes in, Juliet O'Hara (Maggie Lawson). This series has everything, comedy, romance, mystery, action, and more comedy! - pstbmd

Finally! A fellow Psych lover! I love Psych! It has everything from romance to mystery! I really don't see how people don't like it.

It is a murder mystery comedy without all the dark humor. That's what makes it special.

2 House of Anubis House of Anubis is a mystery television series developed for Nickelodeon based on the Dutch-Belgian television series Het Huis Anubis.

House of Anubis is the best show ever. If you took time to watch it, you would love it. It may seem lame at first, but once you watch the episodes, you will be on the edge of your seat. Any season is Good.

Despite the bad acting, I must say this show kept me watching anyways. It has a good theme song and plots, characters you get attached to and really well written scenes. - keycha1n

House of Anubis is possibly the best T.V. show that I have watched in my life and I cried when it ended I couldn't find anything even close to house of Anubis, so instead I just watched it over and over again, I never got board, and I understood it evermore every time.

House of Anubis is an absolutly an awesome show about teens at a boarding school in Britain. Some are a part of a ancient Egyption mystery of life and death. It is very funny, has very good actors and actresses, very good writers, and basically everything about the show is awesome! - pstbmd

3 Monk Monk is an American comedy-drama detective mystery television series created by Andy Breckman and starring Tony Shalhoub as the title character, Adrian Monk.

Normally I get tired of these mystery shows but Adrian Monk never gets old

Come on! This is way funnier than psych!

Monk is a funny show about a germaphobic guy named Adrian Monk who used to work for the San Francisco police department and is a private consultant. His assiastant at the beginning of the series is Sharona Flemming, and towards the end is Natalie Teager. It has comedy, not much romance, but a little, mystery, crime, it really has it all! - pstbmd

I miss Monk :(

4 The Twilight Zone The Twilight Zone is an American anthology television series created and presented by Rod Serling, which ran for five seasons on CBS from 1959 to 1964. Each episode presents a stand-alone story in which characters find themselves dealing with often disturbing or unusual events, an experience described more.

If The Twilight Zone wasn't good enough, watch Disney's Tower of Terror (a made for television movie based off the ride "The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror" at Walt Disney World). Tower of Terror had Kirsten Dunst (Crazy/Beautiful, Interview with a Vampire, Spider-Man, Drop Dead Gorgeous) and Steve Guttenberg (Three Men & a Little Lady). - playstationfan66

This show is great so what if it's from the sixties, it is A,AZING with perfect endings for each episode

5 Clue: The Movie

Oh man! Not only is this movie 100% hilarious, but it has three different endings! That just makes the mystery even better!

When six people and a cook, a maid, their host, and a butler get locked inside a mansion, and are all given weapons to kill the host with the lights off, the host, Mr. Boddy dies. They all panic and try to figure out who killed him. The cook dies, then a motorist who comes asking to call someone to pick him up, then a policeman, then the maid, Yveete, and a singing telegram girl. Who did it? No one knows until the end. - pstbmd

9 Sherlock

Sherlock is a blend of everything, hilarious at moments, heart-breaking at others. It's amazingly filmed and has a breathtaking soundtrack. In the mystery department, Sherlock never fails to impress, going from psychological to following the path of a "consulting criminal". Overall, it is a masterpiece of television.
