Top 10 Mythical Creatures

The Top Ten
1 Dragon A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures.

If I were a Dragon Master, I would train my dragons how to use their primordial potent and apocalyptic potent powers known as the Dragon force. Now, Picture it, the Dragon Force is an ultimately all-powerful entity of God who can possess God's power to create anything and everything in primordial power or cause destruction to anything and everything in apocalyptic power. Therefore I will be the chosen one to become leader of my own dragons of their power known as the dragon force, and then dominate everything with God's primordial force potent and God's apocalyptic force potent power known as the dragon force.

2 Phoenix A mythical bird from Greek mythology, the Phoenix is said to burst into flames upon death and be reborn from its ashes. Often associated with themes of rebirth and immortality, it is traditionally depicted as a large, colorful bird with a melodious song.

I love Phoenix! They are gorgeous and powerful! Love them so much! I wish they existed and I had one!

They are so cool because when they die they just get reborn from the ashes! What's the plural form though? Phoenixes? Phoenices? Phoenixi?

More elegant, peaceful version of the dragon. Plus can be reborn.

3 Mermaid A mermaid is a legendary aquatic creature with the head and upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish.

All you haters are forgetting something: There is a myth that Sirens, similar to mermaids, sing beautiful songs to men that way they can lure them in and eat them. Not joking. So, yeah, I guess they are similar to Poison Ivy from the DC Comics.

Mermaids are really pretty, and I love the siren story. Sirens sung beautiful songs that lured sailors to their deaths.

I don't really think mermaids are that good but I would like to see one and this picture looks nice by the way.

4 Pegasus

Pegasus is best for me . I have a lot of information about him but it will take a lot of time to write . But one important thing I want to tell is that they have crazy superpowers and can beat a chinese dragon or draw the battle. But for me both are equally powerful and NO.1.

Flying horse that is stronger and can kick storm clouds as they pass by!

Horse with wings. Imagine if I ride on Pegasus.

5 Cerberus

Cerberus is so underrated! Plus they are a creature that guards the spirits in that are in, Or enter the spirit word. How cool is that?
I also heard they are nice and calm unless you disturb the spirits they will shred you in half

A giant dog with three heads and guards the underworld. That's just awesome!

Symbolism of security. Cerberus is one of the most creepy.

6 Kraken The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland.

I am OBSESSED with KRAKENS I just Love them so much. They are wonderful. Sometimes humans are stupid. Anyone knows sandy Island?
Apparently scientist thinks it's just sank but...it might be the kraken... the back of the kraken, it might just be bored and swam away I definitely agree with this person."I love this octupus monster it had been my top 1 as always why not turn this ferocious sea monster as top 1 instead of that fire breathing lizard? ''
But it is NOT a octopus...It's the KRAKEN...You never know who might be one...The world is only discovered by 20%...Who knows...

7 Griffin

I love gryphons! They are so beautiful. I am writing a book about gryphons, as well.

I love gryphons! They are so beautiful. I'm also writing a book about them, as well.

Severely underrated mythological beasts, seriously. they're the kings of both the land and sky!

8 Loch Ness Monster The Loch Ness Monster (also known as Nessie) is an aquatic creature which reputedly inhabits Loch Ness (a lake in Scotland). Nessie is one of the most famous cryptids in history. The earliest report of the monster was in A.D. 565 where Irish monk Saint Columbia was the first person to record having... read more

This might be Mythical cause no one knows that it is still out there today.

I love the Loch Ness Monster I just feel like it's a friend for me.

It's technically not a mythical creature, but rather a hoax.

9 Werewolf A werewolf or lycanthrope is a mythological or folkloric human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or a therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction.

A beast which is a half man most wolf , awesome.

10 Centaur A centaur, or occasionally hippocentaur, is a mythological creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse.

I describe it as a symbol of bravery.

The Contenders
11 Lucifer (Devil)

I am turned on by devils and demons.

12 Basilisk

I love snakes and it's even bigger if there huge!

13 Unicorn

This is my opinion on unicorns from a book I read and I'm saying them because the unicorns in the book are basically the rockstars of the fairy realm which was a way they described them which I don't deny. For example a Unicorn has 3 horns throughout it's life and they shed them like an deer does with it's antlers, or like baby teeth which is an example they tend to use when they desribe it. When a unicorn sheds it's horns it can still keep and use them and they all have magical abillites. The first horn can cure all diseases. The second can be turned into a sword and used as weapon, also it can rid of magical beings possesing you. And the third I can't remember much about it but I do remember that it allows unicorns to change from human form to unicorn form. I'm pretty sure I just bored everyone with what I just told you but if you did find it interesting and might want to read the book the book is called Fablehaven by Brandon Mull, also it is a series so if you read the books hope you enjoyed them and I hope you enjoyed my opinion on unicorns

14 Kitsune

My favorite MC! They're really cute and have some personality! They're from Japanese mythology, and I really want a pet one! The only way to kill a kitsune is to chop off all its tails, even though that's really mean. When they reach 100 years old, they can transform into beautiful young women or older men. There are stories about kitsunes falling in love with humans but having to flee when their true nature is discovered! I love how some of them are mischievous and enjoy pranks, while others are good-natured and calm. I adore dragons and phoenixes, but kitsunes hold the top spot for me. They should be at least ranked third! They are powerful, cute, and awesome!

15 Elf

I like elves, they are cute. Ben Drowned from creepypasta looks like an elf but is actually a ghost.

They are undoubtedly the best characters in Lord of the Rings. Galadriel is awesome!

16 Minotaur
17 Medusa

A girl with snake hairs. If you look at her, you will be turn into stone.

They are deadly but still beautiful. I like them.

18 Trolls

Trolls come in all shapes and sizes, strong and weak, powerful and powerless. I refer to the Trolls of Nordic folklore. Definitely the most interesting of mythical creatures.

Are trolls good or evil? Are they even human?

19 Fairy

The earth + air version of mermaids, fairies, their home in the trees is cool. And they are majestic creatures.

They might be real but I have never seen one. I like them though.

The fairy is a very delightful mythical creature I got to say.

20 Cyclops

A cyclops is like a giant, with one eye.

21 Dwarf

In folklore, a Dwarf was a small being that looked much like a human but had magical powers.

22 Hydra

Way too underrated on this list. Hydra is a big snake creature with 7 heads, and for every head you cut off, it grows 2 more. Killing this thing would be near impossible without skill and strategy. Should be higher on the list.

It's not impossible to kill a hydra. It's hard, yes, nearly impossible, but it's possible.
You have to cut off all the heads before they grow back. If you wait to long, the heads will double, so you have to sear the heads. Burn them.

One of the most terrifying, and dangerous mythical creatures out there. But being that it's father, Typhon has over 50 heads, it would be the only one to beat Hydra without too much trouble.

23 Griffon

I've never seen it spelled that way. It's either "Gryphon" or "Griffin". Either one of those is correct.

24 Giant
25 Giant Spiders

I once dreamt that I found one and I name it Monster.
