Despite all his atrocities, he redeems himself by helping Denise escape walkers while holding her hostage. However, this results in his death when he is bitten, shot in the chest two times by Carol and devoured alive by zombies. He also turns and is put down by Morgan Jones. That was really disappointing because he was a cool and interesting character and one of my favorite characters.
