Top 10 NBA Duos After the 2019 Free AgencyThe 2019 NBA free agency was absolutely wild and will change the landscape of the league for years to come. It seems we’re going from the era of the “Big 3 teams” to an era of Dynamic Duos across the league. Here’s the top 10 duos in the NBA moving forward
The Top Ten
Yes sir, I don't know if they are the best, but I definitely think they are top 2. These two are a great defensive pairing and they are pretty good offensively. I agree that Kawhi is the best two-way player and I will go out on limb and say PG is number two.
Kawhi is A two-time NBA Finals MVP joining forces with Paul George Who is an underrated Star in a way. Kawhi is arguably the best two-way player in the NBA, and in PG you have an offensive dynamo.I’m curious to see how Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will fit together on court, but you can’t deny this duo the top spot after the 2018-19 season.
Lebron has been in the league for over a decade and a half and is a player who can impact a game I mean some people call him the GOAT. Anthony Davis, much like LeBron, effects the game on both ends. He can score from anywhere on the court and scares everyone on defense. He’s quick and long enough to switch out onto guards and uses that length to protect the rim.
I think LeBron and AD are number one. LeBron is, in my opinion, the GOAT. AD has proven himself as at least the 2nd best big man in the league. With LeBron playing Point that will definitely open up pick and rolls with AD.
These two are MVP caliber players who can impact a game in ways nobody else can. An advantage these two have over other duos is they have played together in OKC so they have some familiarity playing together. Chris Paul is in Oklahoma now but Westbrook and Harden will still be a dangerous duo
Yeah I am kinda upset to see CP3 leave Harden, but with this move I am gonna go ahead and say this is the best backcourt in the league.
2 ball dominant guys on the same team? Doesn't seem good to me.
Unfortunately The Nets won’t be able to see their new duo in action until the 2020-21 season, but if KD can return to full-strength and doesn’t see a dip in productivity, and if Kyrie can avoid becoming thrown off again for the third consecutive team. Then without a doubt Brooklyn will boast the scariest offensive 1-2 punch in the league.
Yeah we won't see this for another year, but I am sure it will be amazing.
Players usually don't come back elite after achilles injuries.
Stephen Curry is obviously an MVP level player and he will have to be this same way in the upcoming season, as the Warriors will rely heavily upon him with KD gone and Klay currently recovering from a torn ACL. When Klay Thompson returns, however, Golden State will still boast the two best shooters in the league.
Yeah Curry will have to hard core carry this year.
Joel Embiid is an absolute monster of a player who can shoot and defend the rim. If he takes his game to the next level then the rest of the NBA is in trouble. The biggest problem here is Ben Simmons The former Rookie of the Year is a great player sure, but his inability to shoot is a real problem. They lost two of their biggest shooters in free agency so he needs to step up
Yeah Ben Simmons needs to get in the gym and shoot, because he is the only thing holding this team from being in the Finals.
Right now this league is all about three-point shooting, the Blazers backcourt is one of the best in the NBA in this regard. If Jusuf Nurkic can return to the level he ascended to last season, the Blazers could potentially be a popular title pick down the stretch.
The Bucks will return most of their same squad that won 60 games last season, led by the 2019 NBA MVP. Giannas is a once in a generation type of player. There’s nobody in the league quite like him and if he can continue to develop his game and become a threat from long range, he’ll be near impossible to deal with. Khris Middleton has blossomed into an elite wing player, and the Bucks rewarded him this offseason with a five-year deal worth $178 million.
Rudy Gobert is a NBA Defensive Player of the Year while Mitchell can be explosive on offense. The Jazz might lack a true superstar but they have depth to make up for it. Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic gives Utah one of the best top-6 lineups in the league
Alright this is a bit of an odd choice but hear me out the Mavericks got a center from the Knicks who they could pair with their rookie.( by the way how did that trade work out for New York? ) Doncic and Porzingis have not been on the court together yet, but if their individual performances are any indication, they will be exciting. Porzingis is the biggest question mark but I like the potential here
For one thing you spelled Luka's name wrong and I think this pairing needs to be a little higher, because the pick and roll with DončIć and Porzingis will be unstoppable.
Well Porzingis will be injured so
Love these guys all time all stars could beat luka doncic and kristaps for 19
