Top Ten NBA Players Going Into the 2020-2021 Season

The Top Ten
1 Kevin Durant Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Nets. He was MVP of the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals.

I think Kevin Durant could be the best player this season, but coming off an injury we just can't be certain. He is still one of the greatest we've ever seen, but I just can't say he is the best coming in.

2 Kawhi Leonard Kawhi Anthony Leonard is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and the Clippers.

Umm I am mixed on Kawhi. This season with the Clippers was very dissapointing and he was definitely upsetting in the Playoffs. He is still ultra talented and still the best two way player in the league though.

3 LeBron James LeBron Raymone James is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. LeBron has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and the Lakers.

In my opinion, LeBron is still the best player in the league for at least coming into this season. Kevin Durant is coming off injury. Kawhi and Giannis choked in the Playoffs, so LeBron will claim the throne for a little longer.

4 Stephen Curry Wardell Stephen Curry II is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. Many players and analysts have called him the greatest shooter in NBA history. He is one of the most beloved, as well as hated, stars in the NBA today.

I'm so sorry, but Curry doesn't deserve to be this high. He is coming off injury. If he can come back and be the Curry we are used to and if he leads his team to a top four seed, I might consider him being the best player. For now though he shouldn't be top five.

5 James Harden James Edward Harden, Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association.

Harden is dominate. We all know it at this point. He is the best guard in the league in my opinion. We could see a drop-off in the new offense or we could see an improvement. If the former happens, we could see him drop in rank.

6 Giannis Antetokounmpo Giannis Antetokounmpo is a Greek professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association.

Giannis should be a little higher. Sure his team choked in the Playoffs and I don't think he deserved MVP, but he is still a great player and easily the most dominate player in today's game.

7 Luka Doncic

Luka is my pick for MVP. He was only in his 2nd season and he was already putting up dominate stat lines. I think his Mavs could be a serious threat this year.

I don't think he is the best but this man has a lot of potential and was really good he's only been a plane for a comple years so he eventually could be the best player player maybe yeah I don't know I'm talking about now he's in duffered campy the best player of all time

8 Anthony Davis Anthony Marshon Davis Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association.

Anthony Davis was debatebly the best player last year for the Lakers. I think he should've won DPOY. He could take the top mantle for the Lakers this year.

He takes the games easy.

9 Nikola Jokic Nikola Jokić is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association.

See I think Jokic is overrated, but so think he's still a great player. I expect Nikola Jokic to continue being a great big man next year.

10 Jimmy Butler Jimmy Butler III is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association. Born in Houston, Butler grew up in Tomball, Texas.

Don't hate on Jimmy Butler. He is amazing and he proved he can be an impact superstar.
