Top Ten NBA Players that Need to Be Guarded Closely

Some players you just can't give any space to. Now this isn't a list of the most unguardable players. This is just players that can get separation easily and you have to stay connected to.
The Top Ten
1 Kevin Durant Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Nets. He was MVP of the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals.

In my opinion, KD is the best 1V1 player ever. He is simply unguardable. He can shoot over anyone shorter than him, and some taller, and he can blow by anyone taller than him, and some shorter. He is dominant and simply unstoppable. It doesn't matter how you're guarding him, he'll still score.

2 Kobe Bryant Kobe Bryant (1978 - 2020) was an American retired professional basketball player. He played his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. Kobe Bryant has won 5 NBA championships with the Lakers and was the all-time leading scorer in Lakers franchise history. He Retired in 2016. He died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California at age 41.

Kobe could score in a multitude of ways. A very diverse player. Kobe had a great fade that no one could guard. He had a great stepbacks, sidesteps, and could hit hard shots. He also had the speed to blow by a whole lot of defenders.

3 Tracy McGrady Tracy Lamar McGrady Jr. is an American retired professional basketball player who is best known for his career in the National Basketball Association, where he played as both a shooting guard and small forward.

T-Mac is one of the greatest scorers ever. T-Mac had the same game Kobe had except at a lower level. T-Mac could score in bunches once he got going.

4 Kyrie Irving Kyrie Andrew Irving is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and the Nets.

Kyrie has something no one above him had. Kyrie has elite level handles. In my opinion, he is the best ball-handler ever. He also has a excellent stepback, sidestep, and could hit those difficult shots.

5 Michael Jordan Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also known by his initials, MJ, is an American retired professional basketball player.

You guys may be mad at me for this, but Mike didn't have the same arsenal of scoring that Kobe, T-Mac, and Kyrie had. He still had great speed, but he didn't have the stepback, sidestep, or dropstep ability that these other players have.

6 James Harden James Edward Harden, Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association.

James Harden has the greatest stepback of all-time. It produces so much space and is practically unstoppable.

7 Stephen Curry Wardell Stephen Curry II is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is widely considered to be one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, if not the greatest. He is one of the most beloved stars in the NBA today, as well as one of the most controversial.

If Steph Curry gets space he will shoot. You have to stay attached to Curry and sometimes not even that's enough. Curry range.

8 Dirk Nowitzki Dirk Werner Nowitzki is a German professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.

Dirk is the best big man shooter of all-time. His fade is also one of the most unstoppable shots ever.

9 Allen Iverson Allen Ezail Iverson is an American retired professional basketball player who played for 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association.

AI was a lot like Kyrie. He was able to get a lot of separation with his handle. He also had a great talent of hitting shots.

10 Luka Dončić

Luka has taken a lot of stuff from Harden's game. His stepback is really good. He also has a strong handle and he can hit tough shots.

The Contenders
11 Magic Johnson Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. is a retired American professional basketball player who played point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association for 13 seasons.
12 Jerry West Jerry Alan West is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association.

aka The Logo, he is the second best long distance shooter of all time after Curry, but the three point shot did not exist when he played.
