Top Ten NBA Players the New Orleans Pelicans Should Get in the 2019 Off-Season
The Pelicans have a huge off-season coming up. They have the number one pick and they have some decisions to make with some of their players. Let's see some of the best moves they can make.Zion is going to be great. Their is no way they will trade this pick or pick anyone besides Zion. The Pelicans really have something good here and if they play it right, Zion could be an all-time great.
They're a lot of talk about a Knicks Anthony Davis trade. The trade would almost certainly add the 3rd pick which is locked in as R.J. Barrett, a lifelong friend of Zion. This would be a really good combination.
I think a Clippers trade could be a possibility the Clippers should consider. The top commodity would be Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Him and Zion could be a good fit.
It will be difficult to get Brogdon, but I feel like he would work great next to Zion. Just get some of the money off your cap.
I think Elfrid Payton had a great season last year and I think he can be something. He has grown to be a fan favorite and I think he can play well next to Zion. They should try to re-signings him.
Trier would be a perfect fit next to Zion. He can shoot, pass, and handle. I hope the Pelicans snatch him.
Kemba is the hardest guy on this list to get. You would have to shed a lot of money. He would be worth it though and you could possibly have a trio of Kemba, AD, and Zion.
Having a guy like Dragic in your starting line-up could be big. He holds a player option which he could accept.
The Pelicans have a team option on Jahlil and it is very cheap, so the Pels need to keep him. He played very well last season and you could use him on the bench.
He might be a bit too much money, but he might be worth it, if you don't want Elfrid Payton.
