Truly Larry Legend has produced many Celtics thrills and years, but one year tops them all: the 1985-86 season that year the Celtics seek redemption a year after their NBA Finals defeat, what they got was a season for the ages and Bird had his best year ever and his winning of the NBA ALL-Star 3 point contest was one of many greatness Bird would have all year long. 4 Bernard King

He may be small but he was a giant of a man playing in a city fit for a king in new York City. King lifted the Knicks to playoff contenders from 1982 to 1984. His arrival to the Knicks is what the team needed to compete in the NBA after a downer in the 1981-82 season. His 50 points in back-to-back games is the stuff of legend. To think he did that in both Texas Teams. Bernard had a great quick release and can score with the best of them and that's why he's in the Basketball hall of fame.
