THANKS (oh i almost forgat' i will only explain the first two characters since they two steal the show)
The Top Ten
1 Scotty Appleton (Ice-T)

It is very likely that you think that Nino Brown is a much better performed character than this, but hey, at least this character brought to the big screen by the famous rapper of the 90's (Ice T-) was something more credible than Wesley Snipes playing to Nino Brown! from my point of view of course... Certainly this character meets more in emotions mixed between human coldness (in comparison to Nino Brown as a character and his development) and wisdom to think (although not always) in order... I have put this character in him number 1 because really He is very memorable in what he interprets and Ice-T demonstrated a very cool and pretty decent performance. Being a covert cop in movies is always the cause of good stories.

Ice T ...A middle class rapper who had a good package for every crazy fan! Damn, I didn't really expected to see him acting so decent in a gang bangers film. He toked me by surprise.

Good rapper, at least his bith career as a Rapper and an a Actor were kind of decent.

he is one of the best characters in the movie.

2 Gee Money (Allen Payne)
3 Nino Brown (Wesley Snipes)

Nino Brown is a character not too iconic but at least it is a character who fulfills his mission, and certainly could not deny that his performance was quite good for the film in general. Of course, we can talk about their internal relationships throughout the film, that would be to talk about their business (keep an eye open) '' Business '', certainly this is a character that as the film unfolds is having more difficulty directing his '' business '' yes we can call it that! and then at the end of all this character is developed in a way more similar to Tony Montana of Scarface (1983) although we could also say that later American Gangster (2007) also took some outstanding factors about this character and his cold emotional stay.

Why he is not in the first possition? He is clearly the better one. There's no such another character which had a much relevant role on this movie -

He is one of the most underrated Hood Film characters of all time

He had such more brain than Tony Montana lol

5 Pookie (Chris Rock)

7 Frankie Needles (Anthony DeSando)
8 Duh Duh Duh Man (Bill Nunn)
9 Old Man (Billy Cobbs)
10 Nick Peretti (Judd Nelson)
The Contenders
11 Park (Russell Wong)
12 Uniqua (Tracy Camilla Johns)
